The location is perfect for the villages of Cinque Terre, and also for the seaside towns of Portovenere and Lerici. We had excellent swimming (and good snorkelling) every day, and you only need to use bus or train. We were very impressed .... La Spezia is a perfect place for a summertime holiday. In addition, Massimo helped us with repairing our car headlight!!

The Italian owner speaks English very well and was very kind to us. He even let us leave our luggage for one night when we went to Monterosso for an overnight hiking.
