We had a trip from Spain, so because of this we arrived very late, but very kind woman (I guess, it was owner) agreed to wait us. Amazing and cozy room, really atmosphered hotel with historical interior. Eventually, nice truthful French breakfast. We were excited! Highly recommended! If we’ll be in Kale one more time, obviously will arrive to fully enjoy this place!

L'Esplanade Lille is set in the historic centre of Lille in front of the Citadel of Lille and a 14-minute walk from Lille Grand Place. Pierre Mauroy Stadium is a 21-minute drive and Nouveau Siècle Convention Centre is 1 km from this bed and breakfast. Free WiFi access is provided. Seriously, this is one of the best hotels I have booked. Ambiance is perfect. The room is lovely, large, comfortable, clean, warm and with a beautiful view. 5-10mins walk to the center and nice bars or restaurants. Breakfast was peaceful, with a nice view and appretizing.

At the guest house, every unit includes bed linen and towels. The breakfast was very enjoyable, I have bacon and eggs freshly cooked as well as a range of fruit, cereal's, crossants, yoghurts etc.

Delicious coffee and breakfast with local products, we were lucky to have it on the terrace in the sun. Also a nice view on the fields and relaxing hot tub, friendly owner and nicely renovated house inside!

At the property, there is an in-house family-friendly restaurant serving dinner and a selection of vegetarian options. Everything! Our hosts (adults and cats) were charming, welcoming and made our stay memorable. A highlight of our visit was the extraordinary meal prepared by our hosts. The food was excellent and the wine flowed. Villa des Chats made our last night in France relaxing and pleasurable. We highly recommend Villa des Chats.
