Paul is an exceptional host that immediately made us feel right at home in this fully restored Victorian home. Our room was extremely comfortable, even had a heated bathroom floor! Breakfast was absolutely fantastic as well! Paul took so much time talking with us and sharing about the area and suggestions - we can’t wait to come back!

Set in Sheffield and only 8.2 km from FlyDSA Arena, Coniston Guest House offers accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking. 37 km from Eco-Power Stadium and 40 km from Cusworth Hall, the property provides a garden and a terrace. The property is non-smoking and is located 29 km from Chatsworth House. Location was great. Parking was easy. I recommend not getting a car or getting the insurance on tires and road hazard.

It is absolutely charming, full of light, and a cheerful delight to stay in !! The accommodations occupy an L of an L shaped picturesque stone farm house dripping with wisteria, eith lawn and garden, on a farm surrounded by friendly atmosphere-producing farm animals (horses, sheep), in a garden on one side and the farm buildings on the other. All are surrounded by a vast landscape of fields and pastures, just beyond the protective trees. It is in/on the edge of the High Peaks Nat'l Park, and a breathtaking experience. Big sky and gloriously open landscape. Friendly and cheerful. The accommodation is quite lux, with large light comfy rooms and a very large luxurious bathroom with tub, shower, and lots of hot water. The owner is a sophisticated, friendly, competent lady well versed in the life of the area. The public rooms downstairs, an inviting den and pleasant breakfast room, are sure to please. Breakfast was delicious and served at my convenience, with limited but adequate choice of traditional fare - nothing too fancy or esoteric. A relaxing country retreat in which to spend a few days.

The staff are exceptional, super friendly and professional. Nothing is to much trouble. The accommodation is very well appointed with quality fittings. The breakfast is essentially 3 courses and delicious. Then there is the location and grounds which are delightful. Cant wait to come back.

With free Wi-Fi throughout, this pet-friendly bed and breakfast is just 50 metres from a fine dining restaurant. Wortley Cottage Guest House was an enjoyable place to stay. Tony and Su were quite a pleasure to talk with. Breakfast was great. The surrounding countryside is beautiful. All together, we would highly recommend it.

The hotel is an excellent base from which to explore the Peak District National Park or Sheffield city centre. Lovely old character building. Currently doing extensions which are going to be amazing.
