The hosts are warm, thoughtful, very welcoming. The place was cozy, immaculate and had additional touches to welcome a ski holiday such as a dedicated gear room. The sitting room was perfect, filled with books, games, a hot tub, complimentary drinks and a fridge. The home made breakfasts were amazing and they also paid special attention to the vegetarian friends we were travelling with. There are great restaurants and shops within a 15 minute walk, and a shuttle that takes you to the foot of the ski hill is located right out front.

Central Rutland is within 20 minutes’ drive from the bed and breakfast. Pico Mountain is 6 miles away. Mike and Barb went above and beyond to make our 1-day visit as comfortable and cozy as possible. The room we got had a stunning vista to a tiny waterfall, which we completely did not expect! The sounds of the water were a delight, along with the birds and crickets singing all through the mountains, what a soul-cleanser. I had no idea Vermont was this glorious. Plenty good restaurants just a short drive away, plus a stunning waterfall on an 11min hike. Mike made us great breakfast too :)
