Healesville Hotel, hotel in Healesville

Positioned in the centre of town, the Healesville Hotel features a gourmet dining room with a seasonal menu and an extensive wine list.

Beautiful room, right in center of town and lovely little details. Bathroom also very beautiful. Loved it. Be aware it's above a pub/restaurant which comes with some noise. I was there during a weekday when they close pretty early.

Some great restaurants, wasy access to other towns in the area. Distinct lack of tourist information. Ok if you like to use a display board; pamphlet available seems to be all about wineries, and food. The library does have some info but not a lot. Sanctuary is great, wear comfortable shoes, plan for a weekend when more shops are open, Wednesday and Thursday not great!.

Great little village with fantastic hiking/walking tracks, natural attractions, short distance to many other amazing towns and experiences, still clos enough to Melbourne to not be a trek! There literally is something for everyone.

One of the larger townships in the Yarra Valley.

One of the larger townships in the Yarra Valley. A great spot to base your travels from - so quick and close to places like Warburton and Yarra Glen. Some of the tourist information specific to Healesville are a bit outdated (like viewing points that are now overgrown with trees so now there's no view to be had), so just check things before you head out to them. The Thai resataurant in Healesville was lovely and great value for money. We can also highly recommend the Dark Horse Cafe just out of Yarra Glen - lovely warm hospitality to be had there with very filling and delicious food.

    Great place to stay!

Great place to stay! We had such a good time and the cafes and shops were all very friendly. The food was fantastic with so many options. Lots to do around Healesville itself. Highly recommend Marooondah Reservoir for a picnic, walk and explore.

Excellent position close to shops , cafes etc. a cosie cottage that fitted 8 adults. It wasn’t a spacious place but was well equipped with everything you might need for a short stay. The only thing we couldn’t find was a chopping board .

We wanted to explore the Yarra Valley and sample some local wine and food, so that is what we did. We thoroughly enjoyed the friendly local welcome, and all the independent shops, wineries and cafes. I would recommend 2N3D to fully engage. If you are flying as we were early Sunday morning, it's around 1hr 10m to Tullamarine, so within easy striking distance by car. In sum - it's a small compact village, great little cinema, interesting art galleries, a wealth of fab local wine and food, and a wildlife sanctuary as well.

Really loved how quiet and peaceful the place was but yet also close to other cottages just out of view. The cottage was really cute and a little bit rustic which was right up our alley of feeling at home. The food provided was a lovely touch and the heating and cooling was perfect. The spa bath was amazing and in that rustic bathroom it really felt peaceful and that we were far away from our stress haha. The shower was also a fantastic size. We can't really fault our stay at all and will definately be back every year I believe!

I booked the King room with view.Glenn greeted us very warmly and showed us to our room which was very spacious with nice views. King bed which was so comfortable, lovely big bathroom with spa and big square shower head. All excellent. Only a few minutes drive to Healesville and so many wineries close by. Had a visit from a friendly cockatoo on the balcony. Glenn recommenced a friendly cab driver who picked us up and got us home from Rochford. All in all a very relaxing place and would recommend.

We stayed for 1 night with 3 litlle kids and it was nice. The cabin is good and got all you need in the kitchen. The place is very basic, nothing special but all is well maintained. The place it self is very nice, got litlle park to walk in and it's clean and well mainteind. We stayed in december so all the houses were decaroted for the holiday and it was lovely. Nice place for kids, they gave them a litlle tresure hunt with some candy at the end and they loved it.

It was a lovely old cottage a few hundred metres from the main shopping street of Healesville. We stayed during a very hot period and the house stayed refreshingly cool. A nice little deck at the back is perfect for eating a bbq dinner or evening drinks. Lastly, a couple of very comfortable couches to watch some tv or read a book. Overall, it was a perfect stay and we will definitely stay here again if we return to Healesville.

The property was a home away from home for us with everything we needed for a comfortable and private 6 night stay. The cottage is located at the rear of an ex-guest house, now home to the welcoming owner (whom we met) and family. Easy 15 or so minutes walk into Healesville and 20 minutes’ drive from family in the Yarra Valley. Meal at ‘Innocent Bystander’ and visit to Four Pillars Distillery a must!

Great location, is very clean and very comfortable. The house is beautiful, and we really enjoyed our stay. It is also very family-friendly, Caroline and Anthony provided us with a port-a-cot which was very handy. The house is also very closely located to Healesville town centre. We stayed 3 nights for a wedding in Dixon Creek, and it was a great location.

The hosts were friendly and very attentive to our requests. We stayed at White Rose Cottage, the property was very spacious, clean and comfortable, also close to Healsville town center. Big enough for two families. The kids had fun, feeding donkeys and sitting by outdoor fire in the evening, roasting marshmallows. We would definitely come back again.
