Location very peaceful with beautiful country views. Accommodation was so comfortable and spotlessly clean contained everything you could possibly need. Bed warm and comfortable- shower nice and hot! Hosts are most accommodating and have a wonderful knowledge of their animals and the surrounding area. ANIMALS ARE SO FRIENDLY AND BEAUTIFUL. Will definitely return

A lovely historic town with a great walk near the river. The closeness to Canberra was very beneficial as I heard Vivaldi, some Tchaikovsky, Mozart and Paganini played by the Chamber Philharmonia Cologne which consisted of 5 stringed instruments and a Spanish baritone soloist. Yass is a super cute little country town with lots of character and cool old Victorian buildings. I'm a building and house creeper, so love wandering around local streets checking out the architecture. There are a few great cafes and restaurants, and a handful of shops - nothing too fancy. The Yass river provides some nice spots to hike or picnic and the town has a handful of interesting historic places.

Nice town with all needed. Was our half way stop to sydney. Hamilton Hume motel was great value and clean. Recommend. Bowling club had great food even though the outside looked un inviting the staff were great and food was great value.

It's a lovely town, with magnificent buildings.
It's a lovely town, with magnificent buildings. We tried the Soldiers Club for a meal, and it was good. Last time we went to a pub, and that was good too. We had afternoon tea at the bakery again. Great place to stop for the night, and a lovely walk into town across the bridge.michaelAustralia

Clean, new tiling in the bathroom and clean well maintained furniture, fittings and carpet. Arriving late I forgot about ordering breakfast. When I asked Jo about breakfast the next morning she explained that it was too late for a cooked breakfast but was most happy to bring me toast, Vegemite and cereals at no cost. Bathroom was clean and neat. Electric blanket was an added bonus. There was a nicely presented recreation and seating area on the property.
