We had a lovely stay in this hotel. The property is stunning and we especially enjoyed the beautiful outdoor terrace overlooking nearby churches and rooftops. We loved Sucre.

We loved Sucre. It retains an excellently restored and preserved Spanish colonial town center with its churches and monasteries. Everything within walking distance (at least for us); we never required car transport. The museum of the liberation period, the Casa de la Liberdade, was very interesting. The cathedral is magnificent and well maintained. English tours existed in all the museums we visited but there were very few time slots available so we made do with our reasonable Spanish skills.

This is perhaps the fifth time that I have visited Sucre...

This is perhaps the fifth time that I have visited Sucre with my partner. This time was for family reasons and not tourism. However, as always, Sucre - The White City - does not disappoint. We managed to go and see the indigenous show 'Origins' and combine the experience with dinner. This 'ethnic' history of Sucre was most enjoyable and I can thoroughly recommend it to all ages.

    The capital of Bolivia.

The capital of Bolivia. Amazing architecture in the churches and the government buildings. The city is alive with vendors, The central market is not to be missed. Many small cafes and restaurants, so much to explore and experience.

Sucre is capital of Bolivia but suddenly is very calm place.

Sucre is capital of Bolivia but suddenly is very calm place. People are nice and streets (except market area) are not crowded. City is quite small and centre has perfect construction. Need 10 minutes by walking to reach all interesting places. But most important is the history of that place... Worth to visit!

We were in Sucre for 4 days, it was lovely to have enough time to stop and watch the markets and see the town in its routine. Recommend hoping on a local bus for its route to see some of the back streets and hop off when something takes your fancy. Buses and Taxi's everywhere so you're never lost. Wonderful to see Indigenous tribes living here in Sucre, and their wonderful clothes and colours. Recommend taking the bus out "of town" to Mercado Campesino for a another view into the day to day of Sucre.

The location is uncompetable ! Super center just a minute from the mercado centro . The host Alex and his mother are very kind , helpful, responsible and guaranteed a quick response . The host is also a Spanish teacher so If you stay a bit longer in Sucre , It would be a good chance to take Spanish lessons from him. I stayed there for a week and I felt comfy just like at home. It was all organized and everything is near . Strongly recommend! !

Easily the best hostel I stayed at during my Bolivia travels. Super helpful and friendly staff, awesome location (gym and fruit & vegetable market directly outside the hostel), and very cheap for how nice the place is. The staff checked me in early as my night bus arrived around 4am no problem and I went on a tour for a few days and they even messaged me to check if I was okay as I hadnt returned to the hostel for a couple of days. The views from our room were beautiful. It is located in the old part of the town, just a few minutes was from La Recoleta. It is a pretty property, with lovely features. Tania (the host) was extremely helpful and receptive. They offer a laundry service for a reasonable price. The kitchen facilities are excellent and clean. There is a balcony with 2 deckchairs which is great for relaxing after a long day exploring Sucre.

The staff was excellent, willing to help and provide information. I met the owner, and he was a fine gentleman who guided me to see the best highlights of the city. Susana, and Moises were fantastic! The room was very comfy and spacious. The restaurant on site was very convenient. The location was perfect! Walking distance to main attractions in the city. They have a terrace with a beautiful view of Sucre on the rooftop.

Even if we had arrived there wasn’t any room prepared for us cause of some bug in this app that young man who run this property was really helpful and managed for us another stay in hostel placed close to of his. Then we stayed another night already in here. In the end we were bid with a helping hand right since we came to Sucre upon we left. All house is clean, staff’s nice, some spanish lessons are offered by an owner.

After searching hotels all over Sucre in this price range, this was the only hotel with a bathroom that was modern. Very happy with it. Hotels usually only offer eggs as their hot food but this hotel gave me bacon also, which impressed me. Very happy with the room, bathroom, breakfast and location (only a 2 minute walk from the Plaza). The room featured a fridge, kettle, coffee, tea, sugar etc.

A great place to stay in Sucre! Quiet at night, comfy beds, hot water in the showers, nice included breakfast in the morning, super friendly and kind staff on hand. Rooms here are a great value as well! I would be happy to come back to Casa de Huespedes Isabella next time I visit Sucre, and also recommended it to several friends who visited Sucre as well.
