The newly renovated motel room was a pleasant surprise. Modern motel style with a large bed, huge television and a fabulous shower. Everything we needed in comfort and quality for a great night's sleep for weary travellers passing through. Helpful staff who assisted with luggage. Located next to a cafe and a shopping centre. Definitely would stay again and we actually did on our return.
This Courtenay hotel provides free WiFi and a balcony in each room. Courtenay District Museum and Sid Williams Civic Theatre are 1 km away. A complimentary hot breakfast is available.

We stayed in Courtenay to try to go skiing, but unfortunately, this winter has almost no snow, but that's ok, it was our first time in town and it was nice, we had great food at Local and The Hen and Hog Cafe, I definitely recommend those two places.

With a stroll through the river area I again appreciated all the hard work of citizens determined to prevent flooding and also warning about personal safety near the water and on the bridge. The variety of shops is interesting. This trip we walked the river trail to the viewpoint to appreciate the Courtenay River joining the ocean. There are plenty of coffee shops, a brewery and bakery and great ethnic preferences for dinner dining. I always enjoy our visits.

The area is billed Courtney/ Comox and it was the comox area that was most inviting. Scenery, restaurants etc.
Locals Restaurant was probably one of the best restaurants and value we’ve been to in a long time.

Lovely town, incredibly clean and tidy with loads of outdoor activities in the area. We both said we would love to live here. The front desk staff were really helpful and made us feel at home. Thanks guys !
An older lady travelling alone on behalf of a non-profit, I needed safe but inexpensive accommodation. I was impressed with the quality of the renovations of the room; good quality vinyl "wood" flooring, beadboard and chair rail to add some flair to a simple room, excellent, modern bath fixtures with good lighting and shelving. Many five star hotels I have been in could learn on how to equip a room for a guest's use from these owners!
I arrived at the hotel after midnight
Very weary from traveling all day
The customer service was excellent
I was helped by the night clerk in getting my bags to my room
The room was very clean and comfortable
It is an older hotel but so clean and in excellent condition!
I will book by calling directly next time
The last hotel I had booked in Winnipeg through this site was disgusting and unsafe.
Clean. No funky odours. Modern. Well appointed room. Looks better on the inside tan the outside.
The thing I liked the most was finding a small tube of sanitizer, along with sanitizer wipes, on the dresser. Very, very thoughtful as most people I know, like myself, wipe their hotel rooms down with sanitizer as soon as they get in the room.
Kudos and thank you!
No complications with arrangements/booking, . . . everything was very straightforward. Location was very central, and easy to find. Hosts were very timely and on top of things. Suite was very tidy/clean, beds and bedding were better quality than usual; suite was quiet; our stay was much better than we’d normally experience in a motel or hotel.
Reception check in was easy. Ditto for the check out process. Our room had excellent air circulation and was spitspot clean.
A Housekeeping staff member went out of her way to help us to our room with the luggage cart and also returned it to the front for us. It's these little kindnesses that stand out and beckon us to stay at this hotel again.
Wow this place was so unique! the garden was fantastic and the comfort was that of a luxury hotel! All the things we would need and more. Robes, slippers heated bathroom with fantastic shower! Quiet and we slept better than ever before at a resort! Coffee and cream, hot chocolate and available snacks! Books to browse! Wow! Awesome!
It was decently clean for how sketchy the property was. You could tell there were a lot of interesting people Staying at this hotel. However, I know what I paid for so overall it wasn’t bad. If you are looking for “luxury” this hotel is not it.
Updated, clean and great place to stay in Central Courtenay. Bed is firm, but comfy.
Like many older motels, the sound of noisy guests was an issue. I’m’m sure mgmt was prepared to address it if I’d brought it to their attention.
It’s a new hotel so it’s very modern and clean. Beds and pillows very comfortable and the rooms are beautiful with great bathroom facilities. Staff friendly and helpful. Also a lovely complimentary breakfast is provided.
Very nice hotel and the room was spacious, clean and well stocked. the bed was comfy and the fireplace was a nice touch. The outdoor pool and hot tub are fantastic and a great way to unwind in the evening.
The breakfast was excellent, consisting of yogurt, juice, eggs, tomatoe, toast and banana slices. The property is centrally located for both Comox and Courtenay, and has beautiful views of the estuary.
Breakfast was much better than a lot of hotels - really enjoyed it. Good quality eggs/bacon/sausages. Lots to choose from - some hotels just have bagels and a lot of bready items - not the case here!
Beautifully furnished, very clean, super comfortable, nice location to everything in Courtenay and Comox. Fully furnished, just bring your bags. The Keurig coffee, cream and snacks really nice touch.
Garden House is a perfect place to stay in Courtenay. Everything you need is there, it’s spacious and oh so nice and clean. The bed is comfy, and the garden is beautiful.
The breakfast was great. Food was always hot and tables well spaced.
Bayview is the only hotel I will stay at when visiting friends in Comox. You have amazing staff.
Great location, the riverside trail runs right in front of the hotel. Nice to have a kitchen in our unit. The pool and hot tub were fun on a chilly day.
