Breakfast was very satisfying with good choices and varied daily. Real silverware! All staff were very polite and friendly and provided good tips for exploring the area. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable; a good place to hang out. Staff loaned us an umbrella for a walk in the light rain. Location is good - we walked from the hotel around Little Lake and back. Stopped at the Canadian Canoe Museum and the Art Gallery along the way.

Sweet place. I would have liked more window and door coverings as I felt rather exposed, with a lack of privacy. Otherwise, it was a lovely little place to stay for a night.

Peterborough has beautiful green spaces and lots of hiking trials. The University offers many cultural events open to the public (i.e. Powwow). Plus the campus is beautiful even in the winter months. Also, there are many shopping options and not far to Oshawa or Go Train to Toronto.

It has been many years since I’ve been to Peterborough and I was shocked at the degradation over large part of the downtown… Graffiti and lots of homeless with obvious signs of prolific drug use. In three days I was there I never saw a single police officer. I did not feel safe in the downtown. It’s no longer the beautiful city I remember and would never consider retiring there.

I all ready gave my big review, but one thing I noticed...
I all ready gave my big review, but one thing I noticed later was this star reward for each night you stay of which I Have lost out on as staff did not inform me about. The only negative to my trip. Also reviewing all the things to see and do which the area has plenty of. Was not a part of this trip. I live in peterborough and this stay was a birthday getaway.
We pulled up to the hotel room, the curtains were stained and ripped from the outside, there were several rough looking characters with their room doors open to the parking lot , my wife I did not get out of the car , we called the Hilton and stayed there , forfeiting 400.00 in room fees we payed. Can't believe anyone would offer such poor accommodations to anyone that the guests don't even want to enter the hotel. Shameful. Coming from out of town, we did not know any better- we will avoid this brand on any future stays.
We are from Korea. Peterborough is a small city but great for traveling with kids. The kids really liked this garden house. They said it gave a clean and warm feeling. It felt like visiting their grandmother's house. I also appreciated the Canadian breakfast. We could enjoy many flowers which are full bloom. It was a great place to stay!
The room we stayed in was 202 in front of the hotel, when you looked out the window all you saw was trash and recycle bins. I’m not sure if it was the air conditioner or the unit out side was really loud. I didn’t have a good night sleep😴
The location was great for what I needed. The hotel staff were very helpful. Having a restaurant attached is amazing and the breakfast in the morning was also a nice bonus for getting something first thing before leaving.
Location of hotel by river was lovely
Hotel was walking distance from a nice park
Rooms were updated with "hardwood" look flooring instead of carpet and beds were comfortable
Nice outdoor restaurant by the river
Friendly staff, easy check-in/out. Rooms are always comfortable, quiet, and it's very cost-effective. The Quality Inn is my go-to place to stay whenever I come to Peterborough, and would recommend it to anyone.
It is a good location if you need to be in the Peterborough area. Lots of nice places can be reached from here in the lakes area. Pleasant setting by the river. The attached restaurant had nice food and service.
Nice hotel by the canal with a river view and plenty of wildlife believe it or not… And only a kilometre from all the action downtown… Will definitely stay here again.
