The restaurant at Merrill House has an amazing chef.
The restaurant at Merrill House has an amazing chef. We had an outstanding dinner and breakfast. Food was like music in my mouth. I would highly recommend this restaurant. The Inn is a beautiful old mansion with cool modern art. Pictor has a lot to offer and so close to many attractions. Would recommend lake on the mountain, sandbanks and waupoos winery.

To be honest, there were not much restaurant so, the price is a bit higher and difficult to find the place during the pick time.
There is one steak restaurant recommended by hotel, I had horrible experience.
The price is very high comparing the portion of the food and unfriendly staffs. (I prefer the KEG)
For the next time, I don't want to make the hotel reservation in Picton. I would suggest to go to Kingston instead.

It's a nice place. Nice and clean.
It's a nice place. Nice and clean. It's an old house, so the floors squeak. Not a big deal. It is a self check in and check out. I know there were "owners" there, we saw them when we arrived, but that was it. The phone left as contact did not answer. Emails about early check in were not replied. We checked in about 2 ours early and it was fine. Simple room (yellow rrom - twin bed and private bathroom) but they didn't mention the bathroom was in the hall, not in the room.

We enjoyed Picton. Recommend Royal Hotel for a great meal!
We enjoyed Picton. Recommend Royal Hotel for a great meal! Our lodging was far less than we expected and what we paid for, however. Electrical and fire hazards were among our concerns. There should be a way for our concerns (as explained in more detail in n the review of the Stone Carriage House - Barouche Suite) to be registered so that others who come after us don’t experience the same problems.

Such a cute town with many boutiques and restaurants!
Such a cute town with many boutiques and restaurants! Houses are beautiful to look at, walk around and take photos! Cute park nearby to picnic or sit and watch boats! Town is near by foot or car. Would go back!
Great restaurants like the Spanish one and yummy ice cream at Slickers!
The apartment has great location only a couple of minutes of the main street in Picton, close to wide variety of restaurants, stores and movie theater. Park and matina are nearby. The apartment is very spacious and comfortable for our family of 4. Kitchen is very well equipped. Decor and furnishings work really well with this period building. Nice sitting area outside with bbq for use. The landlord provided us with lots of good suggestions and always was quick to reply. We are definitely planning to go back.

Everything very new and exceptionally clean. I like the lights under the bathroom sink that automatically come on when you go in in the middle of the night, they are dim so they don't wake you up. The windows are covered in a folding wood door so it completely blocks out light. Location is great to be able to just park and walk around town for everything. There are a lot of complimentary toiletries, more than at most hotels.
Service throughout the whole weekend was gracious, thoughtful, and warm. The breakfasts we had were gourmet fantastic! We found the accommodations and decor were absolutely delightful and charming. Especially appreciated the inclusion of Indigenous history from the area. The whole experience was amazing. Appreciated the location within walking distance to tremendous restaurants.
We were so happy with our stay! The room was lovely and well-kept, the house and yard (with a pool!) were very nice and the staff were very friendly! It was in a great location right near the main street filled with restaurants and shops. I couldn't recommend this B&B enough and we would definitely stay here again on our next visit!
The loft location is perfect. Just located in downtown so that easy to go shopping or to port. As my friends have different dietary habit, they are could find their's wants.
Very thank for Brian and Julia's warm service and let's enjoy this trip in Picton.Looking forward to meet again in this summer.
The location right off Main Street in Picton is very convenient to restaurants, shopping and good walks. The property was clean and comfortable. The kitchen was adequate for preparing meals. The hot tub was an added bonus. We enjoyed the atmosphere on the screened porch for relaxing pre-dinner drinks.
Barry , the owner was extremely friendly , efficient and quick on his replies to try to accommodate our needs. The location is walking distance from main street. The house is cozy , clean , historic and modern on the rooms. Very worth it. The room can provide you the basics to be at home.
I absolutely loved this location and will certainly be coming back ASAP! The grounds were beautiful. The restaurant had a fantastic terrasse next to the beach shore. They are 5 minutes away from Sandbanks provincial park. And the staff was perfectly kind. thank you!
The staff, hands down, are what made the stay enjoyable. They didn't seem to know much in terms of recommending things to see and do in the area. But they were always friendly, and happy to help, in terms of the property itself, ie bike rental, s'mores, etc.
Awesome breakfast. Comfy beds. Road noise was a little off-putting but the B&B is only 2km from Sandbanks Provincial Park. Good to be able to use the pool on hot days. Friendly chickens.
Breakfast was amazing, exceeded my expectation. Also we were upgraded to an amazing room upon checkin for our honeymoon. We also really enjoyed the tour and learning about the house
