From the hotel there is direct walking acces to the rice terraces, the scenic spots. Easy and very helpful communication with the owner Liao Yanmei who gave advice about activities, directions, drove us, guided us, cooked for us, so we could make the most of it during three days. We learnt a lot from her, thank you, Mei!

Great room, great location, great food. Staff is helpful, friendly and Jason speaks English, so communication is really easy. Also had our pickup from and dropoff to Guilin arranged by the hotel, which made things very smooth.

The position and view is fantastic. The staff is very professional and provide in English a lot of suggestions. The food is very good and it was a wonderful place to stay

It is based a couple minutes (5min tops) by foot out of the old town of PingAn town, which did not bother us at all though because we came with heavy luggage and so we were able to drive up to the hotel with the car and still having the perfect hiking distance up to the view points.
The rooms are really generously large and comfortable with a nice view from the balcony.
The home cooked dinner was delicious and the staff overall was very thoughtful and accommodating.

We really enjoyed our stay at Longji Terrace la Vie Inn. The staff was super helpful and welcoming, they helped us to arrange driver, to guide us on the things to visit in the area…
They even gave us a room with a better view than the one we initially booked.
The room is ok, mattress is very firm though but the view is amazing on the rice terraces !
We also had dinner and breakfast there, which were good and portions are big !
We highly recommend this place !
Beautiful, underrated, I should have stayed one more night.
Beautiful, underrated, I should have stayed one more night. It was very easy to get around and the entire village at Ping'an has English and Chinese signage all on farming/hiking trails. I can't believe how empty the village is and part of me is concerned that not enough tourists are visiting even though I loved the serenity of it. Many stores/hotels were empty or closed, perhaps due to COVID-19.

We loved the Jinkeng terraces which you can view from Tiantou Zhai Village. They were superb and the walks to get there and back were very pleasant not only for the scenery but for the local life as well. It was very interesting to observe the rice farmers at work and also meet some of the local Yao people and try some traditional dishes such as bamboo rice. Even though we visited after the harvest, they were quite a sight to behold and I can only imagine how beautiful they must be at their fullest in summer or autumn at harvest time. We were there for two nights, but one full day and we thought that was enough, though you could stay a second day if you wanted to visit the terraces by Ping'an Village. The kids loved it though I would not recommend it to families with very young kids as there is quite a bit of climbing involved, sometimes following uneven steps and narrow passageways at a considerable height.

The rice fields scenic area is very relaxing and tranquil.
The rice fields scenic area is very relaxing and tranquil. We spend 3 days here and it was perfect for relaxing and taking a break from the cities. There are lovely walks you can do, as well as several view points to visit. One thing to note is that if you visit Longsheng rice fields you will need to pay entry since it is a scenic area. The hotel is located within the scenic area.

I took the cable car both directions, but then I walked up and down (different routes) . . all on the same day. Beautiful photos. I recommend you "dress up" in the traditional outfits at the top of the cable car, and have photos taken. If walking, follow the route for the "Golden Buddha" lookout. There are signposts almost everywhere along the route. The walk down to DaZhai is easy and picturesque.

Beautiful scenery.
Beautiful scenery. I did quite a lot of hiking during my time in the rice terraces and found the trails are not well marked and the tourist maps are not accurate. However, the local people are very friendly and will show you the correct trail to take.
The location is perfect, really close to the bests view spots and the view from the room is beautiful as well! Helen is a really good host and she speaks good English. Also helped us to book the bus and pick us up from bus station.
The room is clean and very comfortable, with gorgeous view.
The food in her restaurant is fresh and yummy, the service was perfect and there’s a lot of options for locals as well as foreigners. Espresso base coffee options are available as well, something not very common here.
The hotel itself can be called eco-friendly, as everything is quite minimalistic here. The view is really great, and the surroundings are absolutely quiet. You can see bright stars at night, which is especially surprising after crowded Chinese cities. The owner was kind enough to share with us some valuable advices about the best observation points and even helped us to warm up our food using his wok.
The staff were extremely helpful and hospitable. Even though I do not speak Chinese they answered all questions and offered assistance using WeChat. They helped with requests like renting bikes and even brought us local snacks in the evening. The style of the hotel is very cool and they have a nice rooftop patio for relaxing, as well as a washing machine that we much needed for laundry.
the owner (Jason) was very helpful and gave a lot of useful information. Jason speaks excellent English, which is a real bonus (we traveled for 2 weeks in south China, and had frequent communication problems, we met very few people with a good command of English). The hotel is well located, at the entrance of the Ping An village, and close to the hiking trails.
We stayed at the Green Forest Lodge for 3 nights. Our purpose of this trip was to hike. It’s in a great location for people wanting to see the sunrise over the Longji terraces. It’s also a great starting location for the hike to Ping’an terraces. From here, the hike to the Golden Buddha peak is easily accessible and starts through a village.
The hosts were extremely welcoming and organised a driver for us that picked us up in Guilin and drove us back. Moreover, the location is perfect, nice breakfast, very cozy and beautiful room with a great view from the balcony. The hotel is in the rice fields which makes it very easy to explore from the hotel.
The view alone is worth the price, absolutely breathtaking. The service is also excellent, the road to the hotel was blocked by a landslide, but the hotel management sent us out a driver to pick us up. I highly recommend staying At Longji One. Food was great, and they were able to accommodate a vegan diet.
Best place I’ve stayed at in a long time. Jason and his wife helped me arrange transportation, answered all question I had about everything I needed and much more. The food was delicious. Rooms were clean, spacious with great view. Connected me with people to help rest of my travels.
I don’t know if it was the owner but she was so nice to me, she arranged a nice room for me and helped me get to the best places, also gave me tips to visit the rice fields. She was so nice! The hotel is great and the food is delicious, also really close to the rice fields.
We had the most amazing view of the rice terraces, in the most beautiful room. The staff was extremely helpful, including arranging a bus and driving us to the stop. Breakfast was delicious. Hotel is right next to the rice terraces and in a lovely village.
Beautiful Property, very friendly and helpful staff! Jason was incredibly helpful to us! Great English.
They met us at the car park and helped get our luggage up and then we just had a short and easy walk up to the hotel.
The food was also incredible!
We had an excellent stay . The owner Jason was super friendly and helpful. The staff are great, rooms are clean and it is a beautiful hotel. We will be back.!! Best service !!! Thanks Jason and Baike hotel for an amazing experience .!!!
Fantastic location, beautiful hotel with excellent facilities, spectacular view from the room, Jason and his wife were brilliant hosts who took care of our every need. The food was delicious with plenty of choice.
Great view and very relaxing atmosphere of the hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff that provided us with tips for local hikes and transportation information. Amazing local food also served at the facility.
This was a gem of a hotel! Perfectly located overlooking rice terraces, the rooms were basic but perfect. Super comfortable. The staff were amazing and always there to help.
Great hotel, friendly staff, pick me up from the car park.because it was winter and the view wasn't pretty, but it was nice to walk around the village.highly recommend.
A special place, family owned boutique hotel jn the center of the village. Amazing design, super good dinner and breakfast and amazing view of the rice terraces!
Even better than the pictures! Perfect location. Fantastic and helpful staff. I wish I had stayed much longer than two nights. I can't overhype this hotel!
