got a collectivo to posh Flamingo for an ATM and walked back all the way to puerto viejo at the end on Conchal Bay. Beautiful beach. great quiet town. if you want an experience watch the sun setting and the locals dancing at Indiras. One of the great boozers.

The accommodation is ideally located. There are plenty of parking spaces in front of the hotel. The centre of Brasilito and the beautiful beaches are just a few minutes' walk away.
We particularly liked the style of the hotel and the many bright colours. The room is stylishly furnished. Breakfast is served on a huge terrace and there are various options. We particularly enjoyed the traditional Costa Rican breakfast.
Every day, Howler monkeys made their way across the hotel grounds and we were able to watch them up close. Fantastic.

The little house is brand new and super clean, with new towels and bed linen. Hot water and good pressure in the shower, it even has a washing machine in the back which we did not use. Not far from the beach but a 25min walk nonetheless, so a car is preferred, parking inside and secure. The small kitchen is fully equipped, and you can eat outside at the front or choose from the several restaurants at the beach.

It’s clean, comfortable and has the best owners and staff in Brasilito. The transformation of this property is stunning. It’s a quiet little gem just off the main road. It’s comfortable and quirky. The owners and the hostess bring this place to life. I travel extensively and it’s very seldom you get such personalized service. We loved our stay because we were given such personalized treatment. If I ever return to Brasilto, I’ll return to Quinta Esencia.

It was very clean and the lady who made the breakfast (Jacinda) was lovely, despite the language difference

This was the nicest hotel we've ever stayed at. The hotel is beautifully decorated with comfy chairs and couches in the lobby/bar area. The rooms are spacious, comfortable beds and nice cool temperature. The staff are friendly and hospitable. All in all it was a wonderful vacation.

Susan, relaxing, proximity to restaurants, grocery stores and beach, wildlife
The location was good.
The room was sparse, sheets did not fit and I did wonder if they were clean, they were awfully creased and looked slept in, we were given three pillows ! .
There was no breakfast available.
The restaurant closed at 7pm.
I would advise seeking an alternative hotel.

I would definitely not recommend staying there besides, it includes breakfast, but apparently it does not even though they send you a welcome email that says it does. They do not serve coffee after 8 AM. It is extremely loud until midnight and then they wake up at six in the morning, doing a recycling in front of your door. Proximity to the beach is amazing but that’s the only thing.

Brasilito is a small town full of local residents.
Brasilito is a small town full of local residents. I would not describe this as a tourist town, which I liked. Most locals speak only Spanish but are happy to try to converse with you. Good little small inexpensive restaurants featuring great seafood.
Playa Conchal is a beautiful shelled lined beach just a 10 minute walk south of the town square, Well worth the walk.
Several hotels within walking distance of beach, shops etc.

Brasilito is a small beach front town that is rustic.
Brasilito is a small beach front town that is rustic. My wife and I feel it gave us a true Costa Rican experience that we felt we would miss in a larger or resort centered location. The local sodas gave us a taste of traditional Costa Rican food. The access to Playa Conchal required a 15 minute walk from Brasilito but well worth the walk.

Brasilito is a pretty scruffy town.
Brasilito is a pretty scruffy town. But that means lower prices. Plenty of small bars and sodas. Given the cost of all the fancy resorts around, this is the place to stay to keep your budget down and still get to access the Conchal beach.
The unit was large and spacious. Very clean, comfortable, had laundry, a dishwasher and a large kitchen. The common spaces were well maintained and lovely. The pool is shared by only 8 units, so it was quiet. The location was great with a car, Flamingo, Brasilito, Conchal were all seemingly less than a 10 minute drive. The grocery store and food in Flamingo were great. We liked the local side of Brasilito best. We could back our car up to the edge of the beach, pitch a hammock and jump in the wild waves.
The location is very good you can walk to brasilito beach and conchal beach ,supermarket is right infront and some restaurantes are close to hotel
The staff were so kind and friendly -helped me alot to get bus schedule and any other information that i needed to go to other place
Also the breakfast was delicious , you can have several options
The room was really clean and has a pretty big size
You can also chill in the pool which was awesome
We loved the convenient location, and everyone there could not have been nicer. Breakfast was delicious, and we so appreciate that they went out of their way to also make a breakfast for our 8 month old. The room was clean and quiet too! The hotel provided a tent and wagon for us to take what we needed down to the beach, and we had an absolute blast.
First of all, the condo itself was excellent, even better than depicted in the pictures. it was really quite lovely and comfortable. And the Reserva itself was very accommodating. Very nice facilities staffed with very friendly people. The gym, the pool, and the restaurant all were outstanding. The Reserva was immaculate and beautiful.
The staff were super helpful and really friendly.
Breakfast was great, particularly the huge bowl of prepared fruit.
The room was a good size.
The guidebooks encourage you to go to Playa Conchal but we much preferred turning right when you get to the beach and walking along Playa Brasilito.
Warm welcome from Valerie and her husband, amazing support from Valerie to select and book activities (great visit to the mangrove, restaurant CocoLoco with a beautiful view), location close to Playa Conchal and Flamingo beautiful beaches, swimming pool and jacuzzi, among others
Checking in and out was easy. Personal was pleasant and polite. Location was in the Reserva Conchal, that have a huge protected area with a big park, hotels, beach club, perfect beach Conchal and another apartments. The best that you have access to Westin Hotel and beach club!
Beautiful pool. Looks like the property has been updated. King bed room was good size, AC, small refrigerator nice size bathroom. Breakfast was absolutely delicious. Very good location to Playa Conchal
Awesome location by Brasilito Beach and Playa Conchal.
Dinner in restaurant was eexcellent. Breakfast was a disappointment - only white toast, fruit, and coffee.
Shower water pressure was great.
Good food in the restaurant.
Pool is a bit heated which is nice and its big.
Theres a pool bar.
Parking at the hotel lot.
2min walk to a minimarket near the hotel.
Shared terrace nice to sit on.
Really lovely hotel, very comfortable room, good breakfast and helpful staff. Easy walk to Conchal beach. Very relaxing stay to end our travels, just what we had hoped.
a small beautiful hotel, with friendly and attentive staff, who were really helpful with arranging trips and transfers. food was exceptional. Perfect Costa Rican oasis.
It was close to conchal and flamingo beach. The rooms were comfortable and well air conditioned. It was a good stay overall, I would book it again if necessary.
