Lots of work going on to improve this City. Definitely on the 'Up' with constant road/pavement improvements, OK, bit of a pain but has to be done for a better experience for tourists. Our favourite eating places were Dias Zeus and Alkion. We will be back again later in the year. Taxi to airport cost 35 euros but think you could get for 30, shop around. Amazing place on earth! We enjoyed our stay in Paphos. Please select accommodation carefully. Good choice of places to eat, bakeries and supermarkets . Buses between lower and upper city regular but bus stops difficult to find. Pavements dreadful. Taxis very expensive. Dearth of bookshops and cultural events. Archaeological sites excellent

Paphos is a mix of culture, nature and history. It is filled with lots of museums and beautiful beaches in every corner. It is highly recommended for travellers who wish to have a relaxing beach-side vacation and also want to spend some days in the mountains. The city and the people are extremely child-friendly.

There is lots of on street parking and easy access to the main roads to get to different parts of the island. The apartment had everything we needed and the WiFi was fantastic. The best we have had while staying away from home. While located away from the busier part of Paphos there are restaurants and shops for essentials, like bread and milk, just a short walk away and it is an easy walk into the busier harbour area.

It was also easy to get buses. The woman in charge was extremely nice and helpful. There's also common areas including a kitchen and an area with sofas. The place is extremely basic, but its location and the helpfulness of the woman in charge make it a decent location for a night in Paphos, especially if you're trying to avoid the extremely touristic hotel area.

All plugs in the apartment are UK plugs so no need for travel adapters. Beside nobody cared that pool can only be used after taking shower, esp. after using sauna. The room was wonderful with direct views onto the pool and sea. We upgraded to the all-inclusive package and were happy not to have to think about food and drinks during our stay. The staff was superb, always friendly and ready to help or answer questions. Booking airport transfer to and from the hotel was easy with reception. Also, cheers for being adults-only!
