so much history in this city! not all good, but important. The architecture is unbelievable and soo much of it is still left or being renovated. We arrived during a holiday so the vibe of the city may have been different than a normal visit, but I still recommend it. I also recommend to learn a few German phrases as well as bring euros as many places do NOT accept credit cards and don't post it...or maybe it was posted but in German and I didn't understand. Just make sure you have cash handy. Also tipping has become a thing unlike in the past, so just be mindful of those things. I was also there on business and didnt have much time to see much, but what I was able to see was totally worth the visit. Very enjoyable and informative.AmberBrUnited States - 10Scored 10

I've been to Berlin about 40 times. Home away from home. Lots to do, theatre, opera, museums are all very good. A great city to explore on foot. Despite construction blocking off some routes I was used to walking, it was still easy to get around. Favorite places: Gorki Theater, Schaubühne, Komische Oper, Hackesche Höfe, Berlinische Galerie, Neues Museum, Pergamon; flea markets and art galleries.

Being a largish city, the best way to decide what to see is to take the 2 day hop on hop off ticket and go around the city. There are multiple operators, but they all seem to be on the same routes. We also took the river cruise which was a nice way to see the city. Prepare to walk a lot, but it is quite comfortable. The city seemed very safe and definitely a must visitIshmeet Singh

It says 5 kilometer on the website which is correct but you are where you need to be very quickly as there are two metro stations with a lot of directions nearby. Also the environment was quiet. The breakfast was good for what you pay for. Not as in a fancy hotel but there is bread, cereal, some fruit, yoghurt, different cheeses and meat, vegetables and cake. I also paid for the breakfast, which was plentiful and the best I had at a hotel in Germany. The room has a working refrigerator (with small freezer), and the apartments even have access to a washer and dyer in the basement, which was unexpected and well appreciated. It's like, suddenly, you are on a spaceship, going somewhere, in another galaxy and this is your tiny little SF bedroom. I just loved it! It really looks like in the movies. Otherwise, the accommodation is located in the center of Berlin, close to Stadtmitte metro station and close to cafes and supermarkets. It's pretty much ideal for a short term stay in Berlin.

The hotel were happy to look after our suitcases before check-in and after checkout which was really helpful.

There are fridge, kettle and microwave in the room. There are also small kitchen with plates and all things for eating. The shopping possibility is very abundant nearby. There are Nette, Lidl, Rewe etc. The journey to BER takes only 15-20 minutes on S9, S45 Lines.
