We loved the history of this city. The people are friendly.
We loved the history of this city. The people are friendly. We enjoyed shopping and eating in a small local diner on the shopping street. We toured the interior of the historic church. The caretaker inside was very friendly and told us a lot of history of the Church. I would have enjoyed another day or so in this city.

Owners were very friendly and offered me a bicycle for free, for I travelled on foot. On the check-out day I was offered to have a lift downtown. In general it was just great experience! It is very well restored, and has all the modern-day amenity you can expect in a great hotel. The owner was very helpful and kind. Also, it is smack in the center of town on the pedestrian shopping street. I can warmly recommend this hotel. Next time I'm in Kalundborg I will stay there again.AAnonymousDenmark

The location is close to the industrial area and the beach as well, although a car or bike is recommended. The reception closes outside normal business hours, but provides for 24/7 arrival and departure through a lock box.

Unless you have your own car, getting there would mean taking the public transport from Kalundborg station which is is once every 30 mins and then a short walk. Hardly any taxis that you can find to move around.

Very clean room and bathroom. Very nice guest kitchen with all you need for cooking a nice meal. It’s in walking distance of the historic center of Kalundborg.
