The roof terrace was amazing, a perfect place to end my Camino. The personnel was nothing short of amazing, helped with every question, ensured an easy check in and made my stay a great experience. Breakfast was wonderful as well! Will for sure come again!

Great location (room with a sea view was terrific), very clean and comfortable. Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff (I didn't get the name of the South African lady on reception, but she really couldn't have been lovelier). Super breakfast - lots to choose from and reasonably priced.

LOVED the property, beautiful waterfront views , soo comfortable . Hosts helpful and generous , left tea , coffee , jams , bread biscuits etc . Would highly recommend, one of our favourite Camino accommodations.
I always come with happiness to Muxia. I choose all the time Bella Muxia for the reason of the welcoming hospitalieros and also the Special Albergue and Hostel facilities that I could find from 2017, when I came first time. This is my second time in 2023 staying , both in common albergue and one guest room too in my holiday.
Everything was perfect in both cases.
I recomend Bella Muxia.

We walked from Lires to Muxia which was approximately 16kms. Lires to Muxia is an easier walk than Muxia to Lires. The last 5kms into Muxia is downhill with about 2kms on bitumen.
The walk to the Sanctuary was worth it passing by the disused Condor Eel drying site. The Artisan Lacemakers have a hut on the top working on lace while you watch. Lace is for sale from this shed. Didn’t see any other outlet in the town itself.
Views from the top are spectacular and worth the walk.

Muxia is a lovely place with a really special atmosphere, to my mind it’s a better place to stay and for finishing a Camino than Finisterre. There’s not a great deal to do, exploring the whole town takes about an hour. There are some very pretty old buildings and the landscape and sea by the lighthouse are spectacular. There are plenty of bars and restaurants offering very fresh seafood at reasonable prices, if you fancy a swim the beach is safe, clean and pleasant. Bus links are good. I’ve been three times and like it more each time, it is a nice place just to be.

Muxia is a beautiful little coastal port/village, it is the final finishing point for the Camino so there are is no shortage of people arriving and leaving. It is also popular at the weekends and fiestas with locals who travel from all over to have lunch. So if you are thinking of eating at Lonxa d Alvaro (which is excellent) make sure you book as a table there is very sought after. There are lots of other amazing options for dinning and its easy to spend the days just eating.

Muxia is a wild and rocky coastal town with two light houses visible. and a beautiful church site 1/2 mile from town. We wandered there every evening, it’s especially beautiful at sunset. We walked to a few Sandy beaches, but because of 25 mile an hour wind gusts the entire time of our stay, we did not enjoy the beaches as we had hoped. We found all of the towns people very warm, welcoming and accommodating, and seafood was the very best we’ve had while in Spain!

If you want peace and quiet and idyllic beaches and friendly people, this will suit you. I was actually in Merexo, but went to Muxia for an afternoon. It is full of bars and restaurants, but it is a little town. There is a port and a few little streets to wander along. Not loud and touristy. Lovely.
Absolutely the best views in Muxia! From the bed, the kitchen table, the couch...all amazing water views. Immaculately clean and insanely comfortable. I didn't want to leave, ever! Kitchen has all the equipment you might need, and the hosts leave you lots of breakfast goodies. Bed linens and towels were terririfc. Shower was great. Only a 10 minute walk into the main part of town. I walked into town multiple times each day. Can't say enough about this apartment. It was absolutely heaven for me, and I hope to return someday.
This is a very modern albergue just past Quintans and only 10 kms to Muxia. If you want a short walk into Muxia, this is a great stop. There are only 10 beds with sheets, comforter and a towel provided. Each bed has its own TV but I couldn’t figure out how to operate it. There’s a small well stocked kitchen but no restaurants or cafes nearby except in Quintans so you need to bring your own food. The hostess lives next door and was very friendly and helpful.
The location was great, the sea was right there, the shops, supermarkets & restaurants were a couple of minutes walk & the Camino from Muxia to Finisterre was right there on your doorstep.
I also loved the bunk beds because they had privacy curtains all the way around with your own light & charger socket and they have a drying room with a dehumidifier for boots, rucksacks & clothing.... an absolute must!
It was awesome. Nice room with a terrace that opened up right onto the sidewalk across from the playa and the cruz (thus the name). Had a kitchen so having the supermercado three blocks away meant we had three meals on our terrace for the price of one meal at the local restaurants. A relaxing end to walking 800 Km of Camino de Santiago across Spain to the Atlantic Ocean.
Beautiful hotel in Muxia! Lovely rooms, very modern, and with a kitchen. We loved our stay and wished we could have stayed longer. Very large and soft towels, big comfy bed, and soft linens. We honestly couldn't believe we got such a nice room for the price. Also really convenient location across from a grocery store, near many restaurants and the bus stop.
I liked everything! such attention to detail! clean, comfortable with everything you could possibly need for your stay. Ideal location, overlooking a quiet square one street back from the sea. Great communication and welcome from the host who provided a wealth of local information to help with making the most of a visit to Muxia. Ideal!
Stayed here for one night when walking from Muxia to Finisterre.
Great location in Muxia close to seafront, restaurants and shop..
We only needed beds and shower so having use of the small kitchenette was a bonus.
Very clean facilities great shower and comfortable beds.
Check in was very easy by WhatsApp.
No noise quiet room.
We were met by a fantastic host who showed us all the rooms etc. The flat is huge and the beds among the best I've slept in on the Camino. I'll definitely be back in June when I hope to walk to Muxia again. The breakfast things were a great added extra and the price was the best value of our trip. Thank you again.
The host was great, welcomed us when we arrived and told us about everything in the house and neighborhood. We spent 2 nights and will maybe come again. Great place for families. Muxia is a small town and you can go everywhere on foot.
We stayed in the barn - a beautiful space and perfect for a couple! A very warm welcome, great breakfasts and idyllic spot in the countryside. The coast walks north from Muxia and Camarinas (Cabo Vilan circular route) are spectacular
The hotel was lovely, located right across of the beach. We had an ocean view room with windows that opened. It was absolutely lovely. The room was clean and comfortable and bathroom was modern and spacious.
The apartment was close to everything in Muxia, it was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Enrique was a lovely, caring host full of recommendations for local restaurants and site seeing.
The lady who signed me in was very helpful, finding my backpack at the bar across the street and finding me a taxi for the morning to go back to muxia for a bus
This is an amazing Alburgue. The staff is warm, welcoming and helpful. Impeccably clean and great design. Right in the heart of Muxia. You will love it!!
