A small city-like village in the middle of nowhere. Very friendly, nice staff but obviously don't expect too much English (but you can practice Espanol). Great area for hiking, lots of birds of pray in the mountains around.
If you want to work with laptop - this hotel has a very decent fiber internet, around 80/70 mbps down/up - I didn't expect it in such place.
I wish there was an option to rent a bicycle - that could make my stay much longer.
For convenience, you have also a nice restaurant in the same place, try some dishes here.
Set within 36 km of Plaza de Espana and 37 km of Iglesia de Santa María la Mayor, Casa De Los Cuadros offers rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Villaluenga del Rosario.

Stunning location & unique house in a traditional part of Spain. Kitchen facilities and garden were great. Even two restaurants which is a surprise for a tiny mountain village.
On the outskirts of Ubrique, this hotel is located in the Sierra de Cádiz. It has free Wi-Fi, free onsite parking, air conditioning and a swimming pool.

The hotel was a good place to stop for a night. The food in the restaurant was well cooked and well priced. It was nice to have the sitting room for guests only.

A comfortable first floor apartment with everything needed for our stay or longer!
Parking right outside in the town square.
First class restaurant underneath our apartment which was not noisey certainly at this time of year.

There are a lot of great walks, however it is a very sleepy village, and we struggled to find a restaurant that was open, even on a Friday night!
However the Payoyo factory is there, and the villagers are very friendly

It's a nice village surrounded by the mountains of the "Sierra". But unfortunately there are no restaurants there and not much to do besides relaxing on your stay. Even the cheese museum which is the only tourist attraction from the city, was closed. Maybe it's a good place to stay while exploring the hiking trails nearby. I'd have stayed 1 day instead of 2, and go explore other areas and activities. You also definitely need a car to explore the region. Most nearby city with more to do, and the only we could find restaurants to eat, is Ubrique, 20 min away by car.

Lovely Andalusian house in the middle of Villaluenga del Rosario with charming patio and swimming pool. Very friendly and welcoming hosts:) Highly recommended if you like nature and hiking.
The hotel is a beautiful old posada, very nicely renovated but keeping the charm with exposed stone work. A pleasure to stay in such a lovely building.
