Location was ideal. Not far from the tourist information, bus stop and supermarkets.
My flight was over 5 hours late arriving and was due in after the reception was closed. I was left clear instructions on how to collect my key and enter the hotel.
The room was comfortable,
Breakfast was a self service buffet with a wide variety of choice.
The tv in the room had wifi connection with a couple of english channels, access to YouTube and a couple of subscription channels if you have an account with them.
There was on street outside the hotel and parking nearby.

Marna is an absolute star. So friendly and helpful. It was a pleasure to meet her. The accommodation is brilliant. Spotlessly clean and I really felt at ease immediately.
Small city, easy to walk around to get to places in the city...
Small city, easy to walk around to get to places in the city, slippery in the winter, terrain is uphill and down hill sometimes but railings are everywhere. Really good restaurants like Aristova and Barbara.A lovely corner cafe and book store called Paname Supermarkets have nearly everything including GF breads.People are very friendly and help you if and when lost.Must visit the red houses!

It’s the town center of Faroe Islands.
It’s the town center of Faroe Islands. A charming town but not much to do. There are some good restaurants but the food was a bit on the pricy side, which is understandable considering they may be imported or flown from other places. Getting around the islands by car is fairly easy. It’s feasible to drive to the sightseeing spots on the map within a day, if no hiking is needed. Don’t miss the Mulafossur!

One of my favorite cities (and I've travelled a lot).
One of my favorite cities (and I've travelled a lot). It's the biggest city in the Faroe islands, yet the feeling is different compared to any city in other countries. Peacefull, well maintained beautiful city where you can find everything you need .
Lots of restaurants and bars around the harbour area, very easy to find orientate.

Lovely old town, cathedral with pretty garden and turf roves of parliament buildings. Can you find the ancient circle carved into the rock near the water.
Good Tourist Info with loo.
Lovely lunch in cafe set back from Main Street which also sold cheese.
Toasted sourdough sandwich……very nice.
Do visit National Art Gallery near cute wooded park with pond……if you can find it……best to ask!

Torshavn is a lovely place to visit, and the local people...
Torshavn is a lovely place to visit, and the local people are very friendly and helpful. It feels very safe overall, and there is enough of interest to sustain a 3/4 day stay. There are good restaurants (some expensive - depending on what you're used to) and there is good quality food on offer. Getting around is easy, with most of the Town being walkable - with the local "Red" busses being free to use. Exploring beyond Torshavn needs planning. Some bus routes offer a morning departure but can have a late return, with not enough interest for the casual traveller at the destination for more than a couple of hours. Be aware that Shops etc. close at 13:00/14:00 on Saturday, and on Sundays everything is closed (including the local busses, and some of the cafes and restaurants!)
The ferry to Nolsoy is cheap and only 30 minutes. However, if you are NOT hiking there is only 1 shop/cafe (closes Saturday at 13:00) and 1 other cafe (Maggie's was open, friendly and with basic food (chips/burgers/pizza) and worth a stop). For non-hikers there is only an hour/90 minutes of interest, but you may have a several hour wait for the return. Maybe in peak season it's better - I was there end April.
Great property with nice view over Torshavn. Easy to access if you're arriving by bus into the city from the airport. Get off at the SMS shopping centre stop and then it's a 15 min walk.
Our room was a decent size. All rooms share one of two bathrooms.
The kitchen is large and well equipped, although would be better if there was a can opener.
An easy walk into the centre of Torshavn and the harbour and old town area.
There's space for 1-2 cars to be parked and you may be able to hire Marna's car if available.
The property is located on the edge of Torshavn overlooking a park with plenty of walking possibilities and, of course, the waterfall. It has a small sheltered garden that we used for eating when the weather was good enough. The house is well equipped with two bathrooms and two showers. There is a supermarket in a short walk down the road which has good opening times and a good selection. From the house, it's relatively easy to get into Torshavn by foot, bus or driving. The parking lot can fit two cars if necessary.
The hotel is in a convenient location with easy walking distance to town. Parking is free and plentiful. The rooms are clean and comfortable. We had 2 rooms booked for our family. One room was in an older part of the hotel and was a bit smaller in size, and it had a smaller bathroom. The other room was in the newer part of the hotel and was quite a bit larger, and it had a larger bathroom. We were still comfortable and happy enough in the smaller room, though.
Alvur was an amazing host! He greeted us shortly after arrival, was very helpful, provided a great 20-page guidebook, discussed our travel plans with us, and made great recommendations. We also really liked the size, cleanliness, and comfort of the apartment. The location in Torshavn was excellent, as it allowed us to tour extensively on our own throughout the Faroe Islands, as well as being near to restaurants, museums, etc.
This place was perfect for my 1 week in The Faroe Islands. I've started ordering a little room, but the Host gave me a bigger room instead. Fantastic service and good customer support. I would definitely book there again if I come back.
People were helpful and the fact that you could make your own food in the kitchen was a lifesaver!
The room was not the biggest, but its layout and facilities are excellent. I loved the breakfast provided, with a fair selection to choose from (excellent scrambled eggs, by the way). Finally, I love the central location of the hotel, as it meant that I could go around the city with ease.
Excellent location in heart of Torshavn. Much better located than other newer hotels which tend to be on the outskirts of the town.
Great restaurants right nearby as well as ferry port.
Staff were super helpful and friendly.
Hotel had nice dining options
We enjoyed our stay, very good price/quality ratio for the faroe islands.
June is very sympathetic and helpful.
It is very well located.
2nd bathroom (black one) is very clean.
It was peaceful when we were there (only 2 other rooms booked)
New and modern interior. The hotel has a large outdoor parking space and it's well connected to major routes out of Torshavn. Breakfast selection was very good. We especially enjoyed the selection of local craft beers in the Lobby Bar.
What I liked the most was most likely the silence, which probably came from the emptiness in the hotel. I don't know how many guests there were, but most likely not full.
Another thing I liked was that the TV held me entertained.
Wonderful view. Good access to Torshavn. Comfortable and well appointed. Plenty of storage. Lots of hot water. Plenty of linen and towels. Frank was very pleasant, friendly and available. It provided us with everything we needed.
We stayed here our first three nights in the Faroes. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean, but small. The morning breakfast was abundant and good. The restaurant was a good value.
