The apartment is outside of the town but handy for visiting the WW2 sites. Communication with the host was clear. The living space and the bed were comfortable. The off street parking was great.

My stay was very comfortable despite the freezing weather. The apartment has central heating, a fully equipped kitchen, good domestic wifi (better than hotels in my experience), ample free parking and is in a quiet area. It is a short walk down the hill to the shops and there is a lovely walking/cycling path along the river that apparently stretches from Cherbourg to le Mont Saint Michel. Good access to surrounding areas, and only an hour from the Ferry at Caen/Ouistreham. There's even a hot pizza dispensing machine near the river, and I saw a mobile burger bar (I think) one night too.
A great little spot.
