Peaceful location and nice views looking out over fields and horses. Hot tub was great and very private. Breakfast arrived on our doorstep at the requested time and it was nice to eat it sitting outside on the veranda. Plenty of parking outside the accommodation. Only two properties and so quiet and relaxing stay. There are several lakes within close proximity and plenty of good walking options.

Rooms are big and very comfortable. Great beds. The place is immaculately clean.
I also recommend having breakfast and dinner at Ome Sweet Home. You won’t be disappointed. They have also good wines and nice champagne. What else does one need?

This is a great gite, by far my favorite. When ever possible when travelinfg to and from France I chosse this gite. Also this route through the belgian Ardennen to Orlean and the south is much nicer that over Paris. This area is also very beautiful
The hotel is in the middle of the forest and lake area.
The hotel is in the middle of the forest and lake area. You need to drive to othe places or have a bike. The golf course seemed popular but not crowded. The spa looks good, but I didn't use it on this occasion. The pool is outside with a canopy built over, popular with families, but at other times quiet for a proper swim. Short drive to the next village with swimming and watersports facilities. Picnic area and several food outlets and toilets and showers. Free parking places. On the other side of the lake is another village with a larger beach and more facilities. The city of Troyes has a fine medieval centre. But I would recommend a drive to Piney for more good examples of medieval architecture.
My son and I had stayed overnight on our way from the UK to the ski slopes, and were so impressed that we decided to stay again on our way home. This is an excellent hotel. The rooms are clean, spacious and well appointed. The food is first class. Travelling South we had stayed on a Saturday night and the restaurant was busy, but service was very good. On the journey back North we stayed on a Sunday; the place was relatively quiet, and both service and quality of food were a little below the excellent previous level.
The hotel is located in a nice forestry area and the pool plus jacuzzi are nice benefit after a long day drive as well as with high temperatures outside. The barman is friendly and has a proper selection of wine. Some comment to the wifi to be poor we did not experience (~18MBit upload is quite good)
We booked a family room as we are travelling with young children (10 and 6). The room is spacious and the children seized the 2nd floor bed at the mezzanine.
The hotel was what we expected for the price. The decor in the bar and restaurant is modern and comfortable.
Our room was great for a family of 5, which can be very hard to find, so this was excellent for us.
This was our stop-ever enroute elsewhere, and the pool was simple, but great for the kids to be able to get rid of some energy after a long journey. We were told at check-in we could pick towels up from reception for swimming, which is very handy.
Peace and quiet in the forest and fields. The odd exterior architecture--1980s modern--is interesting, but the interior is well laid out. The room was large and well laid out also. The bed was comfortable and there were plenty of pillows, The window opened and had a screen to keep the flying insects outside. The entire hotel is accessible to disabled people.
Having stayed at this hotel several times in the past and feeling it was getting more and more "tired" , we were very happy with the changes, the prestations and the food. We enjoyed having dinner in our room arriving latish in the evening due to terrible traffic jams.
The restaurant quality was much better than before and breakfast was great!
it is in a great location, in a very beautiful part of France. The hotel itself is set in lovely grounds. For us it is also in a convenient location, halfway between the Channel ports and our home in the French Alps, the perfect stopping off point en route. The restaurant is excellent and makes the stay something to look forward to.
The hotel is nicely set in the countryside, where you can enjoy peace and quietness, with ample parking facilities. The staff is courteous and helpful, the room clean and of a decent size, with a bathtub in the bathroom (always nice!). Breakfast is good, the overall ambience makes for an enjoyable and relaxed overnight stay.
We stay at this hotel approximately 6 times a year for the last 5 years en route to our final destination , and have always enjoyed the large rooms, comfortable beds, secure parking and good service. The restaurant has always been top quality with a seasonal menu
The staff dont speak engliish
Dinner was not ok in the sense that a lot of dishes were not enough so plyes were empty. We think there were too few in the staff at the restaurant.
Wifi did not work
Golfcourse was very nice though
Booking dont recommed this hotel
I've stayed here at least 20 times in the last 10 years. It's a great location and a hotel I've recommended in the past. However, they have gradually lost their way...now to the point that they have lost my custom moving forwards.
The hotel had a very relaxed atmosphere, was welcoming and our poor French was not a problem! The starter and dessert at dinner was delicious. Service was prompt and again our weak French was smiled away.
Friendly staff, decent restaurant and very good breakfast. It was nice to be able to jump in the pool after a long drive and the hotel was the perfect distance for us after arriving in France.
