Love cozy room. Single bed was quite big. Complementary snacks on arrival in the room were great. The breakfasts were amazing and staff were friendly. David the owner has made a great effort with farm to folk ethos at the hotel. The apple juice was from his farm.

Good location, 10 minute walk to the city centre . Car park with plenty of spaces available at the property. Our friendly host showed us to our room which was large with a comfortable bed and a settee. Breakfast the next morning was held in a light and airy conservatory with linen table cloths and real flowers on the tables. The breakfast was lovely with plenty of choice.

- Location was good for reaching Hay Festival and not close enough that the price got hiked massively.
- Owner was sick so her mother met me - made allowances in that respect regarding my room not being ready at the specified check in time (not that it mattered as I then went to the Hay Festival until 9:00PM.

The property was absolutely beautiful, a lovely place to relaxed with friends. It was very clean and beautifully decorated.
The host was so friendly and helpful making our stay so relaxing. She left milk, eggs and even prosecco for us on arrival.
