Windsor Wine and Dine, hotel in Chertsey

Windsor Wine and Dine is situated in Chertsey, 1.7 km from Thorpe Park, 14 km from Hampton Court Palace, and 16 km from Windsor Castle.

I did enjoy my stay. The staff are really friendly. The accommodation is over a wine bar which also serves food at evening time. I highly recommend the cocktails and they also have a very good selection of wine. For me a draw back was that there was no breakfast. There was live music on Friday night which was good. My room was farthest away from the bar underneath, I could hear the music but it didn't bother me, if I was directly over the bar it probably would have been a problem.

Very close to Thorpe Park literally can walk across the road and lovely quite boat, The owner leaves plenty of snacks and drinks and explains everything clearly... The shower in the boat is actually surprisingly good which I was worried it wouldn't be so no use for the communal 👌

We only stayed for one night even though we had booked 3 . Didn't go to Chertsey, We were so cross that the cabin I had booked from the photo a few months ago just wasn't there !! A converted single garage just wasn't what we were expecting...or wanted !@

We stayed in Chertsey for a trip to Thorpe Park which was a 5 minute drive away so great location. Next door to The Crown where we stayed was a Pizza Express where we dined the first evening. Did not explore the area otherwise.

I was born in Chertsey but haven't had much time to revisit all of the lovely open walking and cycling routes close to the town centre. The history of the long gone Abbey and museum are fascinating around the vicinity of the Crown Hotel. I would recommend Abbey Grounds, Chertsey River walks and the Meads for lovely walks and parks. There are many activities for singles, couples and families with nearby rivers and towns, let alone London and train services.

The bridge hotel was so relaxing to sit by the river with a coffee or a beer . We had gorgeous weather which was a bonus . Staff were wonderful and friendly. A good location to stay for visiting Windsor. We went to wentworth for the golf. It was an ideal location only 15 minutes away . The kingfisher pub was lovely too, on the opposite side of the bridge but the view isnt so nice as the bridge. Cann have lovely walks up the side of the river thames too.

Excellent little guest house ideally located for Legoland, Thorpe Park, Chessington and trips into London (we used Elizabeth line from West Drayton as plentiful parking at £6.50 all day) Spotlessly clean and comfortable beds, having the kitchenette was nice although fridge very small and didn’t seem to be very efficient, also missing a way to clean / dry the plates and cutlery, but this would be my only small suggestion for improvement Nice to also have gated secure car parking and a small outdoor area with table and chairs

They had few guests and I believe we were upgraded in rooms. We booked a queen bed and were in a much bigger room. It was the last night of our trip and that space really help us gather our things and pack for the trip home. The restaurant and bar downstairs were fun. We chatted with some of the other bar patrons for quite some time. We had originally planned to eat elsewhere but our conversations lead us to staying in for the evening (we had already gone out to see the town when we first arrived).

The rooms and hotel were good but there was no internet and no phone connectivity in any area of the hotel, restaurant, bar or any rooms. No member of staff could either offer an explanation or try and solve it so we had to go to a pub down the road to get some internet and we subsequently had dinner there instead.
