Lovely little property, very nicely decorated and spotlessly clean. Plenty of space. Loads of towels which is always a bonus. The kitchen is well equipped for self catering but there are numerous places to eat out in the town or local area (Red Indigo Indian restaurant highly recommended!) The town car park is right behind the property and is only £4 a day, free after 6 pm. We left our car there on two out of our three day stay, and set out for our walks from the town. The local information centre has books with recommended routes.
Crickhowell itself is very attractive, small but quite busy with a range of cute and quirky shops. We loved Webbs the hardware/kitchenware store, CwCw which sells lovely jewellery and clothes, gifts etc and the independent bookshop which is also great!

Went to school here and was attending a birthday with old school friends. Crick has never lost its charm . There are stunning views everywhere , gorgeous independent shops, cafes, bakery and butcher. I’ll always have a special place in my heart for Crickhowell x

The room was clean, the whole building very tired & worn , needs a lot of money spent on it !
Naomi was a very helpful lady she offered us a lift to the local pub which was very kind of her , very friendly & helpful !
Unfortunately the lady on the reception desk when we arrived was not so pleasant, kept talking over me which is found very frustrating.

Lovely small, vibrant town with a good atmosphere, plenty of places to eat and drink and small independent shops. Nice local history too with the Crickhowell Bridge and the ruins of the castle in town as well as being surrounded by beautiful countryside.

The Bear is very central in a delightful little town.
The Bear is very central in a delightful little town. Ample parking. We were upgraded to a bigger room which was very comfortable. The staff were outstanding. It was a well.motivated trained happy team. Always busy with guests and locals but it ran very smoothly
This cottage was the perfect getaway we needed. The cottage had everything we needed and more. Great distance to all the places we wanted to explore in Wales, nowhere seemed too far away, Cardiff, Beacons and so much more. The perfect base for exploring and after a long day out, Crickhowell had the most wonderful choice of pubs on your doorstep.
Not that I wanted too but had to spend one morning working. Had the perfect set up in the dining room with Wi-Fi.
The property is an ideal base for hiking in an area that we have visited on numerous occasions. For potential guests who are not familiar with the area, the apartment is equipped with numerous guides to the many hiking trails in the area. It is easy walking distance to an excellent pub (The Horseshoe Inn, in Llangattock) which serves well kept real ale and food. Crickhowell is a little further with more choices for restaurants and pubs.
Our room was not on the spacious side but absolutely fair for 3 nights.
The pub is nice and staff is very friendly. Jamaican food is served.
Breakfast was only good average but coffee was excellent!
LLangattock is located in beautiful Usk Valley. Ideal to explore the Brecon Beacons. There are some nice restaurants in the nearby Crickhowell.
Lovely staff, very welcoming and helpful. Great location for exploring the Brecon Beacons area. Good breakfasts with lots of choice. Evening meals available, good selection of food and drink. Adequate car parking, though it has a daunting exit and entry. There are a couple of other good restaurants nearby (but not on a Monday).
An excellent staging post on a business visit to West Wales, but also would be a marvellous location for a longer stay in the great landscape of the Black Mountain and Brecon Beacons. Very helpful and friendly staff, good range of tasty choices for breakfast and comfortable bed. We will definitely stay again when in the area.
Everything! Clare is a great host, location is spot on, the flat is furnished beautifully and we wanted for nothing. Loved Crickhowell, it’s stunning high street had everything. The walks with views were out of this world. It was vibrant, the pubs and food were great and the locals are so friendly. Can’t wait to come back.
Very helpful hosts. Brilliant location and house. Ideal for us and another family with 4 pre-school children. Lots of space inside (garden smaller than expected but lovely) and quite soundproof. One of the bedrooms had a little extra section that was perfect to fit our son's cot in so he couldn't see our bed!
Lovely period cottage, nicely decorated and the kind of holiday home I love staying in. Beds were really comfy, great bathroom and nicely decorated. Well placed close to the main area. The staff at the Dragon inn were exceptionally helpful and handy to be able to park there.
very warm welcome, clean and nice room, generous (more than a continental) breakfast. We stayed in a room above the Pub space and it was not a nuisance at all. a short walk into Crickhowell. ideal to explore the beautiful National Park. Def recommend it.
Hotel is located just outside Crickhowell at the top of a hill, giving glorious views from the front of the hotel and gardens. Plenty of parking. Very comfortable room overlooking the garden. Reception staff very helpful. Food excellent and plentiful.
A beautiful, quaint little cottage, full of character. Small, but well equipped with everything we needed for our weekend stay. Location is excellent, just off the high street in pretty Crickhowell. The nearby private parking space was invaluable.
The location, views and food in the Manor Hotel was outstanding. The staff and managers are superstars. They were so friendly and accommodating and made our stay enjoyable. We are definitely going back as it is a perfect place to unwind.
Self catering but was in the middle of town with plenty of choice of eateries.close to pubs and restaurants.Nearby riverside walks and and boat hire on canal.
