Property was amazing. My husband found the stairs were difficult for him as he has disabilities and we were not aware that the stairs were very steep but with assistance we managed. Had a bit of a problem with the key code but that soon got sorted and we got in. The owner was very good at answering any questions that we had. All the facilities were very good.

I think that Cromer is a good base as it has better facilities than other towns/villages nearby but I also feel it is a bit crowded and tired. There are lots of beautiful places to visit nearby however and top of our list would be Well Next the Sea/Holkham beach, Holt and Norwich. If you visit Norwich don't miss the Cathedral Quarter as it is so peaceful and beautiful plus free to enter and look around.
Holkham beach at Wells is absolutely stunning and incredibly clean. Consider hiring a beach hut as they are fabulous and at £65 for a full day (9:30 - whenever you want to leave) are good value if you want to stay on the beach with a picnic all day.
Holt is a beautiful Georgian town with lots of independent shops where you can easily pass 3-4 hours.
We frequently drove along the coast road (A149) and simply stopped off at villages along the way - there are far too many to mention but standouts would be Blakeny and Cley.
Overall I would say this area is lovely and especially if you like walking but you need good weather.

One of the most friendly Towns I have ever visited, would love to live there ❤️, lovely people who were happy to stop and chat, help with directions etc. or talk about their pets. Just couldn’t fault staff in shops or cafes and some lovely places to eat tbat were reasonably priced and good VFM with portion sizes. The show on the pier far exceeded our expectations, so entertaining and tickets only £26 each, again great value. Loved the slower pace of the area, driving was a pleasure too, just all round lovely.

Our trip was out of season but still a lovely place to visit, the pier is clean and rubbish free and lovely tea and cake to be had! The sea front is rubbish free and easy to access. This was a day visit when staying just outside Cromer but we will definitely stay here when we can

Plenty of different shops to visit but some of them shut on a Wednesday which is frustrating when you are only there on a short break. Good tourist information with plenty of leaflets for trips out nearby. We were too early in the season for some.

An interesting town of late Victorian / Edwardian style.
An interesting town of late Victorian / Edwardian style. Nowadays a dated holiday gem best appreciated by older people. Full of nostalgia for over 60s as it brings back memories of childhood holidays. Lovely pier, beach and Cliff path walks.
Excellent sea food . Easy railway access to Norwich city and good road access to fascinating historical places all round the county.
The location of this hotel is amazing, sea view and right in the heart of Cromer. Staff are brilliant, really friendly and helpful and work really hard on the guests behalf
If you want 5 star luxury this isn’t the hotel for you. If you want to stay somewhere that is comfortable but drilling with old hotel nostalgia of an era gone by stay here. It was great to stay somewhere that had so much character. Yes things are a little run down here and there but for one or two nights this does the job!
The building itself was an absolute delight, replete with wonderful late Victorian stained glass. The dining room even boasts a mock minstrels' gallery, and an array of heroic abstract nouns in Latin! The hotel is situated in a prime location, with splendid views over the manicured putting green to the sea beyond. It is only a very short walk (albeit on an incline) into the centre of Cromer, the beach and the pier. The food/catering was of a good quality.
We stayed here for two nights while cycling the Rebellion Way. It is situated on the main road in West Runton about 3 miles from Cromer. We could safely store our cycles in the room. Dinner and breakfast was good and if staying at the back of the hotel, there are great views of the sea which you can walk to down a little path just past the hotel. Bar and restaurant staff were friendly and made us feel welcome.
Mill House is beautiful. A truly relaxing break in a lovely part of Norfolk. Denise was wonderful and went out of her way to make our experience unforgettable. From the fresh flowers in our gorgeous room to the fabulous cooked breakfast, everything was lovely. A short walk to the pub and Sea Marge hotel (no car needed) where we had some yummy meals.
A lovely time was had by all!
This is a small cottage approached down a footpath which leads to a shared Courtyard. One room downstairs, Two small bedrooms and a Bathroom upstairs. Very small paved area out the back, flanked by a high wooden fence and high walls. Bus stop quite close as it is a fair walk to central Cromer. Rather disappointed with the cottage and the experience.
This B & B was excellent, we were really pleased with the room, cleanliness of the hotel, every thing was brilliant.
The owners were pleasant and very helpful. Next time in Cromer we will look to stay there again.
The staff were really accommodating, and the hotel facilities were perfect for a family weekend away. Kids loved the pool. Really lovely rural location. 5 mins easy drive into Cromer to sample all it has to offer.
Great location on Norfolk close. Next door to the friendly & lovely Royal Cromer Golf Club. Well equipped, self-contained apartments. Nice restaurant/bar. Swimming pool with Sauna & jacuzzi. Friendly staff.
Everything, it was well stocked with everything you need, decorated for Christmas which is very thoughtful, location wonderful, facilities exceptional, just a wonderful place to stay.
They had a plumbing issue so we were unable to stay at the property. We understand that these things cant be helped but the catalogue of disasters from the lettings company was awful
The location really suited us, we never had to use the car in Cromer , everything was within walking distance. A welcome rest thanks to that and exceptional hosts.
Cromer is a beautiful area so much to see and do. Clean beaches and sea - a gem on the Norfolk coast - it's a pity that the property itself was not up to standard.
Cleanliness , friendly hostess , excellent quality food for breakfast, so accommodating, a fantastic gem on the Norfolk coast , will definitely be back to stay
