The Crown is right in the heart of Glastonbury and very friendly.
We thought that because our room overlooked the square it might be a little noisy but it wasn't and we slept well...after a delicious meal in their restaurant.
The breakfast was inventive and delicious...a "Full English" for all tastes - Meat, Vegetarian and Vegan if you wanted one...plus we sat in the Spring sunshine outside, enjoying the atmosphere whilst having it.

It was such a beautiful place to stay, the rooms were beautiful and bright, perfect for two people to stay! Paula was amazing, friendly and had all information on hand to help us with anything we needed. The attractions are all close to each other and walkable without needing transport. The Chalice Gardens are a serene and wonderful place to visit and definitely recommended. The waters are highly rich in iron and can be drunk in small amounts from the lion's head fountain (tested for potability). It is possible to paddle in the water due to its legendary healing properties. I would have visited the White Water Spring also, but it was closed on the day we visited as it is volunteer run and depends on their availability. The town is very interesting, especially if you are into crystals. We had lunch in one of the many restaurants, cafes and bistros. A climb up the Tor is a must for the view from the top. There were three musicians making music in the tower and it was wonderful, it made my whole visit perfect. A visit to Glastonbury is as magical as its legends.

I've visited Glastonbury many times and it never gets old.
I've visited Glastonbury many times and it never gets old. There is something very unique about this place. Embrace the quirkiness, enjoy the history, amble around the shops full of all things 'witchy' and have a pint at the pub. You won't regret it.

If you’re into alternative lifestyles laid back people, walks up the tor, live music, therapies and crystals you will love. Huge choices of esoteric goods. As ever be discerning in what you choose to do or buy! The Crown in the centre is a good option for Glasto attuned food with the kitchen open most of the day plus pub atmosphere! Handy when most of the cafes are closed in the late afternoon/ evening (review written in January!)

Excellent value for money and friendly, helpful hostess. Everything needed for a comfy stay is provided, including fresh milk and a complementary block of local cheddar cheese in the fridge :) It's an easy walk to the High Street, very conveniently situation next to a supermarket and also easy to walk to the Tor.

Glastonbury and the surrounding area has a host of places of interest, especially if one is spiritually inclined. The town itself is full of interesting shops, although in the evening, lacking paces to eat after about 5 p.m, particular veggie and vegan.
A must see is the Tor itself, and the Chalice Well and other springs beneath it. Nearby is St Margaret's chapel and Wearyhill, which hosts the Gastonbury thorn, and also a fine countryside museum. Within the town is Glastonbury Abbey which also has a magical thorn and the said graves of King Arthur and Guinevere.
Worth exploring and not too distant are Stonehenge , Avebury stone circle and, at West Kennet, an ancient stone circle.
The room was perfect with a comfy bed, fridge, toaster, kettle and microwave, along with a private back terrace where you could sit out for meals.
Our landlady, Bridie, was very friendly and considerate, offering us a plentiful and healthy packed breakfast to eat whilst we waited in the queue to get into Glastonbury Festival, since we would be leaving in the early hours and would otherwise have missed breakfast.
All round, just what we needed before our five days of camping!
Haydn House has a quiet tucked away location just off High Street. From entering into the small garden with fish swimming about in the fountain to the kindness of Charlie - you're already guaranteed a great stay. I booked the suite and the comfort and size of the space was delightful - wonderful bed and large shower. As a bonus this room has a view of the Abbey, which truly made my stay special. This is an ideal b&b in Glastonbury and Charlie is a top host!
A perfect hidden gem for staying in Glastonbury. Easy check in and out, clean room, great communication and wonderful breakfast. Will stay again and wholeheartedly recommend. Even though it is situated on what would appear to be a busy road, we slept very well. I sleep very lightly yet nothing woke me up. Ideally situated for local sights and eateries. No parking on site but easily parked overnight in nearby carparks and no problems.
Lovely historic building in a fantastic location in the heart of Glastonbury. We ate slow roast pork for our evening meal, which was absolutely delicious, especially the caramelized red cabbage and black pudding mash. We had breakfast which was also excellent. There's a good range of beers in the bar, including an excellent craft IPA. Comfortable room with high quality toiletries provided.
A lovely warm welcome in a lovely warm house, nicely located in Glastonbury town. You're literally staying in one of their spare rooms Airbnb-style (with another room available to another booker) - and there's no locks on the bedroom doors - so you may wish to consider that if you're so inclined, but it isn't an issue for me, and I otherwise heartily recommend a stay here.
Loved the location, in the heart of Glastonbury High Street. Wonderful & Magical experience, we are looking forward to visiting again in a few months again.
We used the main car park, easy walk with our luggage to the accommodation. Co-Op is nearby for essentials, Boots opposite, the Magic of Glastonbury all around........what else can we wish for?
I stayed in the glamping pod and absolutely loved it. Especially having the tor right in front of the pod and the little porch. Sleeping right on the land near the tor felt so good. I would've used the bbq if I had more time. Walking through the fields to the tor and towards Glastonbury town was absolutely gorgeous. Highly recommend!
Lovely clean hotel room which was large. You are right in the centre of Glastonbury, and there is a large paid car park behind the hotel. Breakfast was spot on, with a good variety to choose from.
Each of the rooms is named after a headliner of Glastonbury :-). Perfect for a short stay and great location.
If you're unsure about anything in Glastonbury, Jeremy and Claudie have a long list of hidden gems to keep you adventuring day after day. A very clean space, in an incredible location, with very supportive home keepers, I really enjoyed and loved my stay at Stargaia Retreat. And the views! Stunning.
location was excellent, just in front of the Glastonbury abbey
the hotel is wonderfully decorated, very calm and clean
the breakfast was the best i've had (the eggs, yum!)
the staff is very understanding, extremely nice
Location was in centre of Glastonbury making it good to get around. Breakfast was good. Had an evening meal in the hotel which was also good. Very friendly hotel. Highly recommend.
Perfectly nice guest house/B&B with friendly owners and good breakfast. Good location if visiting Ham Wall and other nearby nature reserves. About a 10 minute drive to Glastonbury.
the apartment was very clean and well organised and we had everything we needed. Good sized and warm beds - there was snow outside! Great location near to the center of Glastonbury
Have stayed here several times and have been totally satisfied each time. Gorgeous little hideaway in the middle of Glastonbury town with everything you need :)
Location was brilliant for the area, 2 miles into Glastonbury where we wanted to be and near enough for a day out to Clevedon which I particularly liked.
