The west end of London is still a nice place to visit but central London is so full of tourists and has become a bit scruffy. Cars tooting has now become a constant, so unpleasant. Great city for vegans. Vegan cafes everywhere.

A polite and friendly city, charming and hospitable but has never overcome the loss of all those pubs, the scenes of the wittiest and most stimulating conversation you would ever hear. Coffee shops will never make up for that loss. The proliferation of mobile phones has spelled the end of intelligent conversation. We are the poorer for them !

The room was a reasonable size and it had a sink which was great because the sinks in the toilets were pretty small and quite low so ours was good when it came to brush our teeth :)
