Dellas Boutique was located between Kalabaka and Kastraki and easy to get to by car. We had a very nice room but it was located on the side of the hotel so it has good views, just not the best views of Meteora. The breakfasts were excellent with variety and great tasting food. We used the local bus system to get up to the Monasteries. We also used this location to take day car trips to Vergina and Ioannina which worked out great. The hotel is very nicely done in dark woods and tile. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

Very friendly management and staff. We were staying over the orthodox Easter celebrations, and everyone was so nice giving us guidance about local events. We had a great Easter Sunday lunch and syrtaki dancinb event in the hotel which we enjoyed very much. Due to ths sunny wheather, we also spent some time at the pool. The pool was not yet opened, but we cleaned the next day. Breakfast and dinner were very enjoyable, food was local and international and of good quality.

The monasteries are lovely but the public transport (bus) to move around them is limited if you only want to visit one or two. Our time was limited so we took the 9am bus up to the main meteron monastery and walked down to Varlaam and Rossenou (St Barbara) convent. We were finished here by 12 but had to walk back to Kalambaka as there was no bus until 14:30 and we had a bus to catch for our onward journey. We walked down to Kastraki and had a quick bite and walked on to Kalambaka. It was an easy walk and took about 40 mins but this was in April so not too hot.

Kalabaka is a city with traditional houses and Meteora is very close. You can visit some of the monasteries. We went to the museum of physical history with animals and birds that lived there, which was very nice, to the mushroom museum and to the digital projection center of Meteora's history and culture. The food also was excellent.

The monasteries of Meteora are place of spiritual renewal.
The monasteries of Meteora are place of spiritual renewal. The Byzantine art and the historic architecture elevate the soul. I was fortunate enough to half ten minutes alone in the chapels of both the Varlaam and Holy Trinity monasteries in between the flow of tourists and found it to be peaceful and prayerful. The natural scenery of the area, including the sunsets, has no equal anywhere I have been, and watching the sun change the colors of the rocks and the monastery buildings as it set in the west was truly amazing. Kalabaka is a bit built up and a mile or two further away from the rocks. Stay in Kastraki for a really Greek village experience.

Kalambaka is an interesting small town with many restaurants, gift shops, souvenirs shops. But the main attractions are the mountaintop monasteries from the 14-15th century that seem to float as you look up.
Taking a tour is very helpful because you get the history of the area and the monasteries, and you do not have to concentrate on driving.
Don’t forget to visit the Natural History Museum and the Mushroom Museum housed together. We have such respect for mushrooms now!
This property was outstanding. My husband and I have vacationed in Greece many times, mostly the islands. This property is significantly nicer than most Greek hotels. The quality and workmanship was excellent, the room was also exceptionally well decorated. Our balcony had amazing views over the town and looking straight up the rocks to the monasteries. If you are lucky enough to find a vacancy here - take it. Stavos the owner has thought of everything and was a great host. We wished we could have stayed longer.
The hotel is very good for a few days trip to Kalambaka or to explore the Meteora. Good location, close to the bus stop and the train station. The staff is very very helpful and kind!
The breakfast is sufficient, the room is equipped beyond expectations ( free air conditioning, soap, etc).
The hotel is a very good choice for the price, it is a 2-star hotel, accordingly, the furniture is a bit old, some rooms face a side street, but the price-value ratio is excellent!
The hotel itself is very good and clean. Located in a good and quiet area not far from the center of the city and the Meteora. It has also view to Meteora and swimming pool which unfortunately we couldn't use it due to the weather conditions. Rooms are new and spacious with balconies. Very warm and clean. Wifi was working properly. Breakfast was very good and price was also good. Staff is also very kind and helpfull
We had a big balcony coming with our room with an excellent view of the Meteora rocks. The Hotel is right at the begin of town, for those who might prefer a more quiet area. The town is not large, thus itbis only a 10-15 Minute walk to main square and the bus station for buses to the Meteora monasteries. For those into hiking, hiking trails to the monasteries start 5 minutes away. Breakfast was fine as well.
The host was extremely welcoming. We arrived around 9 pm and he was waiting for us. Gave us a map and explained everything we need to know and see.
The location of the hotel is great, 5 min away from everything (on foot), and the fact that there is a parking in front it made it even better. Our room had a view towards Meteora. It was very clean, and the sheets pristine white.
I would go again.
It is a good place to visit Meteora whether by bus or on foot. It is the second near hotel to the famous sightseeing points. The view from some of the rooms are amazing to see the huge stones and the red roofs village. It is so serene and unique that you can not but fall in love with it. The hostess is very nice and considerate to help a lot for everything. I can't wait to go back again.
A small and very cozy place to stay in Meteora. Best thing about the guesthouse is its location - very convenient to visit the monasteries in the small village of Kastraki, great views from the hotel - overlooking the beautiful rocks, clean and comfy room and bed, nice little breakfast in the morning. Everything was perfect! Highly recommended :)
The room was not so big, but it was comfortable. The bathroom had a window, which I find always good, and my room had a big terrace. Kastrakis is a wonderful town, there are many restaurants just close to the hotel and Meteora is a couple of kilometers distant. Everything you will see around here is wonderful! I have enjoyed it a lot, thank you!
The hotel room is small, but very cozy and with a good view of the mountains. Everything is nearby, the best restaurant, shops, and a tour desk, where we booked an excellent excursion (30 Euros per person) “Watching the sunset at Meteora.” This is an unforgettable place. as if we had visited another planet.
This is a lovely hotel situated between two towns right under the monasteries of Meteora. The staff is friendly and very helpful. They gave us maps & info on the monasteries, as well as excellent restaurant recommendations.
Our room was immaculate and roomy, with a beautiful view from the balcony.
Outstanding views from the back of the property to the Meteora rocks. Breathtaking even at night from the balcony. Owner was extremely nice and kind, even helped with my luggage when we arrived at 9am.
Breakfast was the best we’ve had in Greece so far.
Only wished we would’ve stayed longer.
A jem of a property just amazing everything. Secluded beautiful location with amazing Meteora views. Everything about this hotel is charming. Very clean friendly staff geat breakfast. Minutes from the monasteries and walking distance from great local restaurants. Highly recommended.
Only an 8 minute walk from the train station. Easy 5 minutes to centre of Kalambaka. Great view. Receptionist was so accommodating in switching our room when we didnt have the bed selection we had booked. Quick to respond for recommendations for tavernas. All around fantastic hotel
We stayed in many amazing places in Greece but this was our favourite.
The location is perfect, the decor is perfect, the staff are polite and very helpful and the breakfast was amazing.
We will definitely return to this hotel.
We took the room with the view of the Meteora, it was very pretty and comfy and the staff was lovely
The hotel has a really nice garden to sit there in good weather
The breakfast was amazing! A lot of homemade appetizers
A cozy and very clean room with a great view of Meteora. The hotel is just a few steps away from the centre of Kalampaka. The hosts were really kind and welcomed us warmly. The breakfast was rich and very tasteful.
The view if the Meteora was spectacular! Can't comment on amentiies since the hotel had just opened for the season, but our room was comfortable.located a short drive from town in a quiet rural location.
