I love hotel Prinos! This was my second time here after 4 years and I came with my grandmother. Vicky, who is truly an amazing woman and host, remembered me, to my surprise, and even remembered in which room I stayed the previous time. We stayed in a room with mountain view on the first floor that was beautiful and very peaceful, like all of Skala Prinos. I really rest during my time here and the hotel is among my top places to recharge!

Evangelina recommended some locations in Thasos ( restaurants, beaches and visiting hot spots ) -> i followed her recommendation and they were excellent.
The rooms were simple, clean & had everything one needs for spending a holiday.
I strongly recommend this location for the reasons above.

I visited the hotel for first time a year ago, but my second stay was even more wonderful. So many things changed for good. The beautiful garden made me feel like it was a miracle place. The touch to detail was felt everywhere. New shower and equipment, one of the most delicious breakfast I ever tasted, with local product and friendly people all around you.
The water placed in the room was great addition to the relaxing stay. For sure, my next stay will be much longer, in order to enjoy the comfort they offer.

Daily cleaning service! Comfortable room with a smart flat TV, A/C, a small balcony and sound proof balcony door with (very usefull since the room is close to the street and there was also a mesh door panel for mosquitos!). Walking distance from restaurants. It isn't a luxurious place to stay, but it is a very good value for money deal.

Prinos is probably the most boring and not so pretty place...
Prinos is probably the most boring and not so pretty place on Thassos so I wouldn't stay there again even though the appartment we staied in was nice and the hosts were great. Near by there are nicer locations and if you don't mind the view and the village and travel all over the island, Prinos can be a place for just sleeping. It is cheaper to eat out compared to Potos for example. So not too bad, but if you are looking for a pretty Greek village - that is not the one :)

Family hotel PROTEAS offer excellent Ratio of price and quality. First impression has been nice clean room with balcony toward pine wood. Room is equiped with net against Mosquitos so good sleep is ensured. Every day we enjoy breakfast seating in the yard in full shadows. Position of the hotel is such that you can reach sea in three different direction. West /150 m from sea. North/ 400m from sea/ and to the east /1km from sea. The friendly hotel owner allowed us to celebrate us birthday.

This house is NOT in Prinos. Actually, there are 4 Prinos's! The ferry docks at Skala Prinos. From there it's 2 km to Prinos village - OK, but nothing special. It's another 5 km uphill to Mikros Prinos and Megalos Prinos, where House Rhodia is located. Megalos Prinos is also called Kazaviti and Megalo Kazaviti. It is a traditional village of stone houses, now largely owned or rented by non-Greeks. However, the surroundings are fantastic, and Thasos Island as a whole is a wonderful place to relax. Chose this location to be convenient for the ferry for departure after touring the island. Buses run regularly from the port. You are about 20 minute drive from Limnas. There are scooter and car hire companies in the town. There is an ATM. There are a few restaurants and café/bars. The food was good in any we tried. Had a lovely time, very kind, attentive and friendly hosts always happy to help with everything. The place itself was lovely, new built and modern. Very close to the beach and port. The place has been very well thought and with attention to detail, everything you would need for a great holiday was provided for. A very clean and safe place, they even offer refreshments for guests which was a lovely touch. Most definitely recommend this place and will be visiting again soon.

Prinos port is nearby (5 min walk on the beach or 1.5km with car) where you can find bank ATM, tavernas & a supermarket. Great beach, perfect for kids - not shallow, no rocks, clean waters. You can find more groceries / meat for the BBQ in Prinos city (3km away, not the Prinos Port). Also every Monday there is a big Farmer's Market in Prinos city, I recommend visiting it.

Was a bit leaking on our room, but I guess it was fine. View is fine from hotel, you will be staring at lit palms, for your long night conversations. Not too many mosquitos which is a plus too. AC works well, but leaks a bit onto balcony, but not big of an issue once you have that size of balcony.
