Everything really. The staff are outstanding, the ladies in the spa are so welcoming and fun to have a conversation with. The restaurant serves really good food and drinks and is nice place to hang out.
The street that the accommodation is on has a few convenience stores, clothing shops, cafes and warungs for a meal so you don't have to venture far at all if you want an all inclusive experience. It's probably a good 20 minute walk into Ubud Centre and another 15-20 minutes to get to the Monkey Forest. All very walkable as long as you're not lugging prams, bags or accompanied by small children.

I am not a big fan of temples, and besides, everywhere you look in Ubud, there is a temple, and they all look the same. So, I spent my time mostly doing activities. I highly recommend visiting Alas Harum at 7 a.m. to beat all the queues, doing ATV and rafting, visiting the monkey forest early in the morning (it opens at 8 a.m.), and walking around the city at night. Ubud city is most beautiful at night.

Many beautiful places and sightseeings, but the place is just overcrowded, overpriced and the traffic is absolutely insane. We were staying only 3 nights and it was enough. If knew it I would choose more quiet location.

The experience in Ubud is very different depending on which part of Ubud you are staying. Central Ubud has many places to visit like Monkey Forest or walking around between rice fields. Outside the centre of Ubud, you have waterfalls and quiet places to stay.

The centre was to busy for us.
The centre was to busy for us. The traffic is awful but you get used to it. Plenty of eateries and shops. Huge variety of shop types. Expensive to cheap. Lots of cultural views to see and activities to do. Spas were amazing and cheap. Taxis were great to book on line. Use go get or similar. Outside markets were the placed to get cheap items to take home. We had a wonderful time but needed another week to really do the place justice, we are all coming back.
location was good, walking few minutes out, u have food, mart and almost everything in your hotel. our room did not come with breakfast but we ordered breakfast during our last day, it was awesome. real fruit juices, coffee, american breakfast and fruits platter. portion definitely filling. room comes with free shuttle ard Ubud, we used and it was fast, good, friendly without any charges. front reception was welcoming and helpful. it was my first time in Ubud but definitely one of the best hotel of all the places i had traveled to.
The best hotel to spend your honey moon!
We went there as part of our honey moon trip and it was worthy. The friendly staff, the Restaurant, the food, the beautiful room and facilities made our stay perfect!!
We really enjoyed our stay there.
Peaceful and beautiful place 🤍 We want to go back
If it is your first time in Ubud, I recommend you staying at least 3-4 nights because like this you will have enough time to go sightseeing in Ubud and really enjoy the hotel (the private pool and rest of facilities)
Thanks
We stayed in a suite with a private pool. It was amazing. very clean and everything in the property was quite new. Our breakfast (especially the pancakes) was delicious and the staff were very accommodating. Staff member Yuli did a great job providing us with all the information and showed us around. Very quiet resort but also not far from the centre. The bed was super comfortable and also smart TV was convenient as we could watch Netflix and YouTube on it. The hotel in general was clean and well maintained. 5 stars!
Kaamala was a great place to stay in Ubud and I would definitely go back! Excellent wifi and service. Location is great as it's on a quiet street but a short walk to the center of Ubud. We had the villa with private pool and it was a great escape after being out doing activities all day. Super relaxing and comfortable with accommodating staff who had good recommendations for things to do.
The location of the hotel is super. Just a few minutes to Ubud center on foot but in a side road, very quiet. There’re many nice restaurants, cafés, yoga studios and spa. The restaurant of the hotel have delicious food and the price is reasonable. All of the staffs are very friendly and speak English very well. They tried their best to support us to plan and organize our day tour.
We had a Deluxe Villa with private pool which gave us lots of space and a lovely calm space to relax after a busy day of activities. The resort was a bit of a distance from Central Ubud area but still possible to walk it and the hotel offered a free shuttle to the centre. Even though it was on a busier road the resort itself felt like an oasis of calm and was very peaceful.
The personal was very friendly and helpful.
Food in the restaurant was excellent, we tried different restaurants around the area too but the restaurant in the hotel is the best.
Pool clean, area beautiful, close to the monkey Forest and Ubud center.
We travelled with a 1.5 years old baby and we highly recommend the villa for families.
The property is off the beaten path, quiet, clean and comfortable. The staff was amazing and always ready to help!
Adi acted as our private chauffeur driving us around the island and to and back from Ubud center. He is one of the kindest person we’ve met, highly punctual and professional! Adi and the hotel staff deserve 5 stars!
This is really one of the hotels from our 6 weeks trip that was exceptional! Would recommend it to everyone who is in Ubud and is looking for a quite place with great staff, a superb restaurant, great architecture, and a nice view into the djungle! Also the extra services like spa, yoga, special dinner nights etc were great!
This was my second stay at Ubud Paradise Villas. It is a beautiful property with private pool and lovely hosts. The breakfasts are delicious and rooms are kept perfectly clean. The hosts are very helpful to arrange drivers for day tours and checked in frequently to make sure everything was going well with our visit.
One of the best villas I stayed in. Infinity private pool with jungle view. Service is 10+, food is delicious. I did a mistake and was ordering delivery food to the villa and tryed hotel restaurant only on the last night and it was absolutely delicious! Don't make my mistakes, just order your dinner in the hotel.
The main building room was ok but there was a construction work so it was noisy. The hotel upgraded us to villas. Villas are excellent with private pool. Internal design is also very calming. The restaurant where the villas located is very nice with delicious breakfast and dinner. Staff are very kind, helpful.
I have lived at Ibah before and I must say that it always delivers. The new management was exceedingly good. Good communication and solved some issues perfectly. I am very satisfied and will book at Ibah next time again. One of Ubud's best hotels in my opinion and I have lived at most of their competitors.
The facility is magnificent, you can go into the city in 5 minutes, the employees were wonderfully helpful for everything. We stayed in Bali for 20 days and stayed in five different hotels and villas, and this was definitely the best one in terms of price and performance.
nice and quite place and close to ubud center
the private pool was amazing
beddings were the cleanest I ever had in Bali and smelled like flowers
breakfast is good too
the hotel provides shuttle service to ubud center for drop offs and pick ups for 70,000 IDR per trip
Rooms are unique, food is great, it shows they’ve been doing great as one of the oldest hotels in Ubud. Cooking class offered is top notch. We did that 9 years ago, and this time again. It is a wonderful experience.
I stayed one night in a villa and one night in a villa with private pool. Amazing! The pool was perfect. More isolated than I expected. Really comfy bed.
Staff were lovely.
Last minute deal so was super cheap.
The hotel located at Ubud's Hills with good weather. Cloud forest with river, traditional village, amazing rice fields. The Bedroom so spacious, the food delicious and the have a large infinity Pool.
I booked this stay last minute after not liking my previous hotel. Arya is an amazing hotel! i loved everything about it and look forward to staying again. This is one of the best hotels in Ubud!
I liked my one bedroom villa with private pool and the open air bathroom. Also a highlight were the monkeys from the nearby monkey forest. Hotel staff were very friendly and welcoming too.
