Anagaire is the hub of the Rosses Gaeltacht.
Anagaire is the hub of the Rosses Gaeltacht. Facilities, services and accommodation is readily available and the locals are extremely friendly and welcoming. If you are planning a trip to Northwest Donegal, Anagaire is a must.
Sharkey’s has the best guinness, Caisleáin Óir has amazing value for money food and Danny Minnie’s is as close to Michelin star food & service as you’ll get.
The small signpost to turn off from main road, is easily missed- I did! We were on a road trip around west Donegal & was a good place to stay on our journey...
The hotel is in a lovely tranquil location, we had lovely waterfront views from our room...dinner was delicious & a v good selection of choices for breakfast...the staff were v friendly & professional, it feels a more personable, family run hotel!
Many Thanks!
Lovely room, comfy bed, nice bedding, nice view, although across a carpark, but lovely when the tide is in. We drove around the peninsula to different beaches, nice local beaches, Falcarragh beach lovely but further away. Found a lovely coffee hut in Bunbeag, part of Sean Ogs, chai latte on almond milk. We didn't get breakfast in the hotel, the menu looked limited for gluten free and veggie.
House was excellent and was contacted before arrival to say heating was on very good arriving into nice warm house.
Also great that local hotel and pubs and cafe within easy walking distance.
The house location was excellent as many other places of interest and beach was also close for swimming in North Atlantic very invigorating.
The area also has a great atmosphere every you go.
Our Host was very pleasant and very responsive to any issues and very friendly. So very rare and excellent to have use of a car garage. The Time & Tide cafe was 2 minutes walk away and did perfect coffee. The hotel was an easy 3 minute walk in the other direction that did very good food at reasonable prices. Located in a quiet village with most amenities within walking distance.
The view was amazing. All staff members were welcoming, helpful and friendly. The hotel was so clean! Our room was spacious and the bed was so comfortable. The bar food was delicious! The breakfast was cooked to order and our waitress, Cassie ( I think) was most pleasant and extremely efficient.
Agus bhí neart Gaeilge le cloisteáil chomh maith 🙂
We had a lovely room overlooking the bay. The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful in sorting out the gluten free food for my wife who has a severe allergy. There was a nice atmosphere in the hotel and the bar van and seated area across the road was great for having a drink in the sun. All in all a great stay after months of lockdown.
Very happy with our stay in this hotel - the staff were so helpful and lovely. The food was amazing and the location was absolutely perfect. The Hatch beer garden is a fantastic touch also. Go raibh maith agaibh!
My partner and I spent two days this week in this fabulous hotel. They made us feel welcome from the second we got here. We enjoyed every sec of our stay from the room to the food to the friends we made..
Great hotel, great location, excellent food and some really nice art work in the Cocktail Bar, painted by one of the staff. Fantastic Tomahawk!! Enjoyed the music in the bar on Friday night.
Location is phenomenal. Rooms are tidy, clean, and have beautiful views. The restaurant serves delicious food and a great drinks menu, and above all, staff is accommodating and friendly.
Very tasty breakfast served by friendly and attentive staff. Hotel located in scenic surroundings. Great efforts made to achieve social distancing. Felt 100% safe. Totally hygienic.
