Great location and property. Very quiet setting and the grounds were beautiful. Breakfast in the morning was very accommodating with plenty of choices. Short drive to the local town to get dinner.

Caroline was so welcoming, and my room was very comfortable and had great self-catering amenities. Also, the food was delicious.
Very pretty village, two nice pubs with food.
Fairly small shop but enough to get by.
Lake lovely but harbour can be busy.
Portumna Castle well worth a visit as is Birr which is about 35 mins drive away - some superb Georgian architecture in town as well as Castle.
Nenagh similar distance and visitor centre also worth a visit
