Don't miss Rock garden. Though the road was shaky, the drive was adventurous, thrilling.
Peace pagoda was really peaceful but the restrooms were worst.
Restrict your visit to few points and enjoy the climate.

Going to see the sunrise at Tiger Hill and Everest peaks...
Going to see the sunrise at Tiger Hill and Everest peaks were a bit disappointing as there was a fair bit of pollution and cloud, so not clear to see. Very cold as well, waiting for sunrise, but plenty of vendors selling hot drinks.
Sherpa Tensing Norgay’s house is a must see( although I didn’t as I became ill), as is ‘toy’ train, which is a narrow train that chugs up and down through nearby towns.
There is a huge Body Shop as well.
Tea plantations are interesting but not open all the time.
Clothing is fairly cheap, especially puffer jackets.

City of Darjeeling has as such nothing to visit..
City of Darjeeling has as such nothing to visit.. Entire town streets full of warm clothe shops and nothing else.. however, nearby places are good as usual.. this is my 5th time to the place and not new.. people with 3-4 days time can explore various places, talk to nature, enjoy the cool bridge..
I visited Darjeeling with family in March 2022 and stayed at SVR INN for few days. The best thing about this place is the hospitality and service provided, specially by the owner Romel Pradhan and his wonderful family. Romel is extremely helpful, friendly, courteous and always willing to meet our demands. Thanks Romel for all your help, you’re the ‘Man’ 😉. Hope you and your family are doing very well.
Hotel is well maintained and in close proximity to Mall. I would highly recommend all to stay at SVR INN.
It was lovely stay at Syengden Nikunj. The homestay is very well maintained and the owner and his wife(Parul didi) both are very sweet and helpful. The owner himself took us to see the Sunrise(with a cup of tea) & rainbow waterfall by their own car and charged very small amount for the same. The breakfast served was too good, even we can say it was the best breakfast we had during our 4 days stay in Darjeeling. I can say the homestay is much better than to stay in a costly hotel.
First of all decoration, room arrangement, basic requirements, bathroom everything was very satisfactory. Thpugh it was very cold, near 3 degrees, we still felt comfortable inside the room. Staff of the hotel were very friendly helpful and kind. Third thing is it's prime location. Mall is just a few minutes walk away, kunga, dekevas, noryang, subway all were just few minutes away. One of best places to stay at Darjeeling
Excellent location at the hill top of Darjeeling. The rooms are extremely comfortable with wooden floors and roofs. You can view both valley and mountain range from room itself.
The hotel being located at hilltop, you may not get anything to purchase so easily, though the hotel gives complimentary drop at downhill Bazar. I would advise you to carry with you the essential things that you may need during your stay.
As I booked the hotel, they responded quickly and send me the location. Hotel at the heart of Darjeeling besides the main road where the vintage train passes by and the view of Queen of hill Darjeeling from the window of our room is breathtaking. All the staff and owner were so humble. They let us know that breakfast was also included in the package and served us delicious breakfast too.
It was technically my first visit to Darjeeling , the first being when I was a year old so cannot remember, and now I'm 49.
The hotel isn't close to the mall...it's way is steep . it's actually close to the famous St Paul's school.
I really had a peaceful rest and comfort in a most scenic atmosphere I was searching for. The staff is excellent, polite and friendly.
Tasteful building and rooms. It was used to be a colonial house back to the 19th century, full of historical episodes and background.
Small, family like atmosphere and hospitality by the hotel staff.
Convenient location, near from the famouse darjeeling Mall but quiet in the hotel building.
The total set up of the hotel was very comfortable. The management and the staff were very hospitable and friendly. I would definitely like to come back to Darjeeling and Thangmi inn.
Thank you to the staff for the lovely experience.
The view from the hotel is just awesome.
Good Place for stay. Staff Behaviour was nice and Beautiful view from Terrace. Mall road which is the main market in Darjeeling is near from Hotel. only approach road is narrow and upside but don't worry this type of problem is very common in Darjeeling.
The view from this property is awesome, almost the whole Darjeeling view can be visible from the room and balcony. Compared to outside shop the breakfast was expensive but taste & quality was very good. View from hotel room attached.
Great place for a solo traveler,
I should say the best........ At darjeeling for backpacks.
All staff are friendly.
If you like the nature and peaceful place you should be come this place.
The staff or owner is well behaved and they treat us well and they also have scooty, they gave us on rent for two days due to which we can explore the Darjeeling as local.
I booked for 3 adults, but at time of hotel check out they charged for extra five hundred, Hotel experience was very bad, I suggest don't go book with this hotel
