We were on a cycling tour of Puglia so had to find accommodation where we could safely store our bicycles and were able to do this at Holiday Albergo who kindly stored the bikes in their office overnight. They also assisted us with receiving and storing our luggage which was dropped off and collected by taxi the following day. We greatly appreciated the help we were given in coordinating this from the friendly staff.

Alberobello is a special town.
Alberobello is a special town. There is really nowhere else quite like it. That said, it is clearly a town that caters to and derives much of its economy from tourists. I don't think a visit during high season would be as enjoyable as during early April, when I was there. There is much to see in the surrounding area as well, so one does not need to spend more than two days exploring the town itself, which is compact and easy to navigate on foot.

The Trulli are wonderful to see during the day and at night they are magical. Plenty of eating options too. We hired a private driver from Bari Airport and were dropped off at the door of our stay in Alberobello. As we had a two night stay - we had time to walk/hike around the countryside close to Alberobello.

The accommodation and location was perfect.
The accommodation and location was perfect.
The downside was that Booking.com advised there was 6 Euro daily parking or 2 Euro per hour however that is not correct. Parking in Alberobello is paid parking only for visitors at 2 Euro per hour between 9am and midnight so daily cost for parking was 30 Euro per day. As we stayed 2 full days it cost us 60 Euro which was not expected. We expected to pay 12 Euro as per booking.com advice.

Alberobello is a magical place of trulli that's easy to navigate. We stayed outside town (in a trulli) but went into town in the evening for dinner and to see the town by night. Dinner was great, but the town is pretty quiet, so don't worry about getting accommodation right in town.

Roberto met us at the door and showed us through the trullo.
Roberto met us at the door and showed us through the trullo. He was incredibly patient and accommodating even with our limited English. There is so much care and attention to detail here, and the breakfast was beautiful too. They even catered to Coeliac disease! We will recommend this to everyone, and can’t wait to stay here again!

Definitely worth checking out for the uniqueness of the trulli. However, it’s unfortunate that they’ve basically turned the Rione Monti neighbourhood into a kind of circus, with all of the tacky souvenir shops. If visiting, I highly recommend checking out Rione Aia Piccola instead - this is the eastern part of the town where locals are actually living in trulli and there are no souvenir shops. Also, one or two nights is more than enough. If staying longer, consider doing a day trip to Locorotondo or Martina Franca.
The host was very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. He makes his own wine, which is provided in the room! The location is in the country among vineyards, just a few miles from the village of Alberobello. It is not convenient to stores or restaurants, but if you want to relax in beautiful countryside, it is perfect. The pool is especially welcoming on a hot day. The room was very large and quiet. Breakfast on the patio was more than adequate. Driving through Puglia and Basilicata is a pleasure compared with the larger Italian cities.
Isabelle was an exceptional host. She was warm, welcoming, thoughtful, and knowledgeable about Puglia. She provided outstanding breakfasts and accommodated my dietary requirements. The room was very clean and the property was quiet and had beautiful views. The property is centrally located and ideal for visiting the Puglia region, as many towns and beaches are within easy driving distance (e.g., Alberobello, Monopoli, Ostuni, Locorotondo, Martina Franca, Cisternino, Bari, etc.). I highly recommend staying at Isabelle's B&B!
Staying in a trulli was on our radar from the moment we planned to visit Alberobello. Antichi Mestieri was everything we envisioned when we booked. Probably more. Very unique. Alberobello itself is small in area and easily walked in a day.
All in all the place is magic.
We had dinner at Casa Nova, which is an underground (basement) location where back in the day was used to press olives.
Neat vibe. We did see some poor reviews. But those, in no way, jived with our experience. Make a reservation.
Great location, within walking distance to all main attractions and main areas of interest. The kitchen was a very nice bonus- it was the one night we bought groceries and cooked during our trip in Italy which was very nice. We sat outside on the spacious patio after dinner and relaxed with a glass of wine. Our room has huge, very clean.
The host helps to direct you to the best parking, which is challenging in Alberobello but was very easy with their help.
Everything: Alberobello is in an ideal location nearby Ostuni, Monolopi, Polignano a mare and Matera. The town is extremely charming and the Terrazza sui Trulli is a family owned business in a perfect location. You are right in the center of town. The rooms were wonderful: ideal combination between being in a traditional trullo and having all comforts. I cannot even start describing how rich and delicious was the breakfast. Grazie mille!!!!
Best location in Alberobello, near one of the most beautiful streets of trulli houses, yet quiet. Fantastic views over the town from the roof terrace. Lovely old stone building, spacious room. My double room was really a self-contained apartment, with a private entrance and a complete kitchen, also a wonderful fireplace that looked like real fire but ran automatically on gas and kept the room very cosy. Good hot shower. Friendly personnel.
Stefano was a excellent host and gave us all the information we needed for a perfect visit to Trulli, Alberobello. There were already food and drinks in the Trulli so that you can make your own breakfast. There was even some home cooked pasty's to welcome you and we got a map with all the hotspots in the area. The Trulli house was perfectly located near a parkinglot and just a few minutes walking distance from the centre.
I didn't realise we would be staying in an actual single trullo when booking, it was an amazing experience.
We went out for dinner but the trullo had a kitchen and a dining area if we wanted to stay in.
The location, the host and breakfast were great.
We loved Alberobello! I would definitely recommend both a visit to the town and staying at Trulli e Puglia Resort.
Angelo stole our hearts! We could not speak Italian, Angelo couldn't speak English but Angelo embraced technology and with a little help of Google Translate we received the warmest welcome in Italy! The Trullo was perfectly situated just outside the busy area with charming decor, plenty of space and all the facilities you'd need for your stay. Highly recommended!
We had an enchanting stay at Anna Maria's trullo in Italy. The attention to detail in the cozy space was remarkable, and Anna Maria's hospitality made us feel truly at home. The highlight was undoubtedly the incredible breakfast, morning felt like a culinary journey. A heartfelt thank you for a memorable experience! Highly recommend this charming retreat.
Incredible private Trulli in the countryside just outside Alberobello with a covered patio with a relaxing view and Jacuzzi. You feel like you have your own romantic bungalow with a private gate at the entrance of the driveway. The staff was very helpful and booked reservations for us at the best restaurants. We look forward to coming back again!
Our stay was a 'Truli' wonderful experience. The host was very welcoming and friendly. As we were on a road trip, we only stayed for one night. However, the facilities included everything one would need for a longer stay. Alberobello is a must stop on any trip to Puglia. The location is quiet, only a few minutes' drive from the town centre.
Really loved the property. Several different trulli rooms on the property. It was a bummer that it was too cold to use the pool, but the pool area looked quite peaceful and sunny. Several friendly cats on the farm, which was probably our kids’ favorite part. And easy to drive into Alberobello city center when we wanted to.
Alberobello is a Fantastic location and extremely charming. I rented a car and there is a parking lot walking distance to the trulli for only $6 a day (24 hours). Super convenient and cheap. if you are staying longer than a day you can pay all up front. Cost me $18 for 3 days and come a go to explore the region.
The location was fantastic as it was very close to the town square. The accommodation was spacious and clean. The deck provides an amazing view of the town of Alberobello and the trullis. Valentina was very responsive and ensured our stay was enjoyable.
Such a cool experience staying in a trulli in alberobello. Very comfortable place and very modern. Great location to the main city Centre and perfect parking! Also very minimal stairs which is amazing for Italy! Free coffee and waters was a nice touch.
The property is beautiful! The pool is refreshing on hot days. the property itself is a short drive to downtown Alberobello. There are trulli on the property, so you get the charm of Alberobello without the tourists.
The location is fantastic, very near to Locorotondo and Alberobello. Parking is within the Trullo. Outdoor area is fantastic. Hope I`ll have the chance to go again in summer to enjoy the outdoors more.
