Quick thinking B B manager Katerina had promised to pick me up from local railway station, Canneto sull'Oglio. I had to change at Piadena, one station away. When my train ran late I mised my connection. I was facing a one hour wait . .Not having found me at Canneto sull'Oglio station, host Katerina drove 2.3 km to Piadena station & picked me up. Above & beyond the call of duty..
A scrupulously clean & tidy B & B, a bit Alpine in style. Katerina does not have extensive English but doggedly used Google Translate to cover multiple tooics I waa interested in (my primary language is English). Again, many hosts would simply have left it alone, but Katerina has a brght, quick mind & she answered my queries comprehensively
I enjoyed the mocha pot coffee at breakfast.

Apartment was well equiped and clean. Place is nice with animals but it was in old homestead with really old doors and windows on groudfloor. In front of apartment is terrase with seating for every apartments in the building so if you want to sleep it is impossible becasue everybody sit outside exactly in front of your window and talk and laugh till late night.
