The villa is gorgeous and immaculate. Decorated splendidly - every detail - tablecloths, cups, tile, all gorgeous
The host is personable and helpful. We had a lovely conversation.
The golden retriever welcomed me when i pulled in
The air is fresh and clean -- mountain air.
Quiet neighborhood - excellent for retreat.
Just up the road is a wonderful family owned restaurant to have dinner.
Definitely need a car up here.
Be careful walking on the roads -- the traffic comes fast and there are no pedestrian sidewalks.
Bring some foodstuffs: bottled water and whatever you like to drink; snacks, sandwiches... whatever you need
the internet was spotty upstairs --

This is a first rate hotel to stay in particularly if you are interested in WW2. We had stayed in a different hotel on an earlier visit, and we think Edra Palace was better. Staff being helpful was a great bonus. Ambience and sitting outside was great. We found several excellent local restaurants which added to the pleasure of our visit.

The town of Cassino has lovely streets to walk and explore many restaurants. Naturally a visit to the Abbey is a must and worth it. There is a shuttle departing from the station for 1€. There are other military museums which my husband loved. Believe me, the walk is a steep uphill all the way up! Where we stayed, we were afforded stunning views of the town below and misty mountains. The church bells play a minute long tune at 7am. Worth rushing out to capture or listen to. The bus and trains run like clockwork. Don’t miss this town.

First visit MonteCassino and also the war graves. Cassino is central place, with a car to explore surrounding areas. There is a good supermarket with excellent deli counter at the opposite end from the property, a walking distance away.

The battle of Monte Cassino was a pivotal point of the war in Europe. Many brave men lost their lives there for the freedoms we enjoy today. It was an honour to see where they fought and died and the commonwealth war cemetery is one of the most moving places I have ever been

I cancelled my reservation, I received a cancellation number and a message from the owner. However, for my surprise, I received a message today saying that I did no book and charging me 67 Euros. I'm very upset and it put a big problem for my bank.
We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel, the receptionist was very welcoming and gladly help with all our query ! She spoke a very outstanding English which was a bonus for me not speaking much Italian 😁
We travelled with our dogs an it was a pleasant stay for them too! 🐾
The room was beautifully and modern decorated.
The viewings of the mountains behind the building was breathtaking!
We would definitely stay again and highly recommend
Great value for money, able to park on road directly outside. Close to great local bars and cafes. Great view up to Montecassino from the street outside. It is a shared apartment with private bedrooms. There was no one else staying when we did so we enjoyed the entire apartment to ourselves. Great coffee machine
This property is absolutely beautiful! The photos don’t do it justice. it’s a perfect place to relax and chill. The host was very welcoming and friendly. It’s pretty close to downtown Cassino as well.
Highly recommend if you wanna take a break from busy touristy cities and enjoy quite countryside vibe.
The staff were particularly helpful and reassuring. My room was spacious and comfortable. The restaurant provided excelent food and service. The hotel is well placed for the study of the Second World War events that affected this town.
Stayed just one night in Cassino for a stop.
Very friendly host; room was large (we got the largest one) and really nice. Can only recommend this B&B!
Parking possible in front of the building (free during night, paid 8am-8pm).
The staff were full of knowledge re the Battle of Cassino, and would recommend the hotel to anyone. Huge amount of memorabilia and well placed for the town and sightseeing. Good breakfast, nice coffee and great local red wine.
Located right at the base of the path to Montecassino; the rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast is simple but adequate (packaged croissants, cornflakes, juice, skim milk, etc). Late checkout time was nice.
Hotel staff were all very friendly , hotel is in a ideal position for visiting MonteCassino and the War Cemetery nearby - lot of choice at breakfast ,plenty of parking and easy access to the Rome to Naples motorway
Beautifully well kept home. Immaculate landscaped property. Exceptional views surrounded by mountains with a glimpse of Montecassino. A short drive to Cassino which has plenty of restaurants and shopping.
