Larger than average room. The area gets lots of people bussing in and out in one day, so not many zenglish speakers overnight. The host made a real effort to make us feel welcome in limited English

Greeted by Giacomo who was pleasant and very helpful. The location was very good with an excellent burger bar below (a 30 second walk). The bedroom was large, the rooms very clean and the bed very comfortable.
Not disabled friendly or for those who struggle flights of stairs.
The villa is gorgeous and immaculate. Decorated splendidly - every detail - tablecloths, cups, tile, all gorgeous
The host is personable and helpful. We had a lovely conversation.
The golden retriever welcomed me when i pulled in
The air is fresh and clean -- mountain air.
Quiet neighborhood - excellent for retreat.
Just up the road is a wonderful family owned restaurant to have dinner.
Definitely need a car up here.
Be careful walking on the roads -- the traffic comes fast and there are no pedestrian sidewalks.
Bring some foodstuffs: bottled water and whatever you like to drink; snacks, sandwiches... whatever you need
the internet was spotty upstairs --

This is a first rate hotel to stay in particularly if you are interested in WW2. We had stayed in a different hotel on an earlier visit, and we think Edra Palace was better. Staff being helpful was a great bonus. Ambience and sitting outside was great. We found several excellent local restaurants which added to the pleasure of our visit.

The town of Cassino has lovely streets to walk and explore many restaurants. Naturally a visit to the Abbey is a must and worth it. There is a shuttle departing from the station for 1€. There are other military museums which my husband loved. Believe me, the walk is a steep uphill all the way up! Where we stayed, we were afforded stunning views of the town below and misty mountains. The church bells play a minute long tune at 7am. Worth rushing out to capture or listen to. The bus and trains run like clockwork. Don’t miss this town.

First visit MonteCassino and also the war graves. Cassino is central place, with a car to explore surrounding areas. There is a good supermarket with excellent deli counter at the opposite end from the property, a walking distance away.

The battle of Monte Cassino was a pivotal point of the war in Europe. Many brave men lost their lives there for the freedoms we enjoy today. It was an honour to see where they fought and died and the commonwealth war cemetery is one of the most moving places I have ever been

I cancelled my reservation, I received a cancellation number and a message from the owner. However, for my surprise, I received a message today saying that I did no book and charging me 67 Euros. I'm very upset and it put a big problem for my bank.
What a lovely lady that runs it! The property is so beautiful and well cared for and clearly loved. the rooms were beautiful and comfortable and clean. Breakfast with a view of the Montecassino Abbey was perfect. Waking up to the smell of baking pastries was amazing. Unfortunately, we speak no Italian and Cassino doesn’t seem to be a touristy area and so not many people spoke English. Despite this hurdle, our hostess was warm and accommodating and we felt comfortable and well cared for.
My wife and I are senior citizens and we don't expect much at hotels these days. A comfortable, quiet place serves
our purpose. This little hotel worked out fine for us. It is placed back from the main street so there is no noise at all
from the Autostradda or main street. The breakfast is small but satisfying and the staff makes a good cappuccino coffee. Staff is a pleasure and tries to help out any time you ask. Free and safe parking in front of Hotel.
We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel, the receptionist was very welcoming and gladly help with all our query ! She spoke a very outstanding English which was a bonus for me not speaking much Italian 😁
We travelled with our dogs an it was a pleasant stay for them too! 🐾
The room was beautifully and modern decorated.
The viewings of the mountains behind the building was breathtaking!
We would definitely stay again and highly recommend
The hotel facilities are bit old: it was established in 1960s, but quite spacious and comfortable. It is 10-15 minutes' walk from train station, and 5 minutes' walk from downtown Cassino. For the mountain top monastery, it is nearer than train station if you take a taxi. If you prefer to walk (to climb or to take a taxi going up then walking down), here is better than downtown.
Carolina was very helpful and showed us to our room. Room is very spacious and clean. We had a balcony and wish we had been there in the warmer weather to enjoy it. The view is amazing overlooking Cassino. Perfect place to visit and have a quiet stay.
Room has everything provided and having a large bottle of water and some snacks were a bonus.
The host is an exceptional curator of the history of the Battle for Monte Casino. He has complied videos about the battle and shares his knowledge freely.
He runs a fine hotel and drove us to the bus for the last tour of the Abbey as we were too short of time to walk.
Breakfast buffet was very good value. We highly recommend this hotel.
We loved the beautiful view of the town (Comune) of Cassino.
We loved the very comfortable accommodation.
We loved the friendliness, helpfulness and warmth of hosts Nicola and Carolina.
The location is great, down the mountain from the famous Monte Cassino Abby but within walking distance of good and affordable restaurants and shops.
This seems like a family run hotel and they are exceptionally friendly and helpful. The location is a little away from downtown Cassino but they recommended a local taxi driver who took us wherever and whenever we wanted, all for a very reasonable price.
This is a large hotel made to host conventions and receive groups coming for the particular history of Cassino during WWII. All is made to make your stay the best as possible.
Good breakfast with plenty of options, waiters are helpful. Clean rooms and comfortable beds. Easy parking at the hotel. Only 20-30 mins away from the Montecassino abbey.
