Castelfranco Veneto is a very nice town with historical...
Castelfranco Veneto is a very nice town with historical buildings and a lot of nice restaurants and bars to eat good food (try here the tiramisù!) and drink "spritz" and wines. You can visit the old town by wandering around and there is no need for a car; the train station is also connecting the town to other cities. I would recommend it for a short visit (3/4 days) and use a day or two to visit the other cities nearby, such as Treviso.AlessioItaly - 10Scored 10
A well hidden gem in the Veneto.
A well hidden gem in the Veneto. Far from the madding crowds, Castellfranco is a great base to explore the region and as a starting place for a tour of the Dolomites. The old town within the walls is charming, has many very good restaurants and bars to enjoy the evenings full of local residents enjoying summer evenings.

Beautiful, laid back town with the Castle in the centre containing an array of bars and restaurants for all budgets. The Markets are definitely worth looking through We ate at Alle Mura Ristorante as a treat, wonderful fish menu and the staff and ambience was excellent. Very much recommend it. Otse Bar is also worth a visit for some excellent bar snacks!LouiseUnited Kingdom

There were many options for pastries, as well as several pies. There were also choices of juices (apples, pineapple, and grapefruit). As well, we had very good coffees (cappuccinos). The restaurant that was attached to the hotel was sort of a higher styler (fancier) eating. The staff at the hotel were very welcoming and happy to translate the menu from Italian to English, and had very good recommendations.

Its in the best location to explore the town. It is near the very top for the best hotel breakfast ever served in a fabulous room on the fourth floor with stunning views over the most and walls of the old town. It feels as if it has just been refurbished and is very clean with excellent bedrooms. also a gym and spa. The staff were very helpful and resolved a muddle of my own making. The room is located very close to the centre of Castelfranco Veneto in a very quiet and welcome neighbourhood! The owner (Fabio) is an excellent man and very kind. He gave us our space and he even provided us with breakfast for free which included coffee, snacks, juices marmalades and other goodies every single day of our stay. These makeshift” beds” had our backs broken for days after the stay.
