I loved staying at La casa di Nina! It's a really nice appartment, after driving up a steep road. Patrizia & Lucia (hope I write the names right) are very friendly and helpful. The appartment had everything I needed and I really like the energy/vibe and how it is equipped. I drove to Figline Valdarno to go by train to Florence. In the morning in the sun with a cup of coffee and it's possible to walk up the hill and have an amazing view.
Dimora Casa Eugenia is set in a small, historic town between Florence and Arezzo. Dating back to the 14th century, the hotel has a panoramic terrace overlooking the river.

We particularly loved the beautiful view of the historic center from our window and the soothing sound of the river while falling asleep. The room had the most comfortable bed and a very nice bathroom.

As this was the 2nd time staying at this hotel we knew what the standard was, I would recement the Hotel Michelangelo for a stopover as it is well sited to the motorway going North or South with friendly and helpful staff.
Hotel Archimede is 3 km outside Reggello in the Tuscan countryside. Its park includes 1 km of hiking paths, a tennis court and swimming pool. It also includes a wine cellar and farming museum.

Great stay at the country if you want to have “home stay experience”! Very relaxing and enjoyable especially after busy big cities. Not that many landmarks but it’s a plus as still can enjoy long walk around on the fresh air. Also great for the summer with much less heat on the hills. The property is also great for those who have special needs
