Tabiano is a very small, quiet town that is ideal to all...
Tabiano is a very small, quiet town that is ideal to all those people and travellers who seek for relaxation and peacefullness. Tabioano is embellished by the homonymous castle, which is a private house today, and can be visited only accompanied by a tour guide.
Its ufficial website (www.castelloditabiano.com) states that "a tour of the castle lasts about 45 minutes and crosses the most fascinating places of the manor: the ancient vaulted cellars, the wonderful halls decorated with stucco and frescoes, the grand staircase, the panoramic terraces".
Entry fees:
Adults: € 10,00
Children 8-12 years, Passport Castles of the Duchy and Parma Card: € 9,00
The entrance ticket also includes the guided tour.
In the small town of Tabiano there are not many options where to go to eat lunch or dinner; for more options check the nearby towns of Salsomaggiore Terme and Fidenza.

I don't think this a particularly well known touristy place for overseas visitors but it could be as there are lots of hotels there and it is very Italian with lovely views all around. This was a stopover hotel (Lake Garda to Pisa area) but we could have easily happily stayed a day or 2 longer. We took the scenic route to a place near Pisa the next day (instead of using the toll roads) - lovely views all along but the route is not for the faint hearted as the road is very hilly / mountainous and the roads are quite narrow in places.
A very clean hotel with great facilities. We booked a triple bed and was suprised to see two different room with common corridor and two seperate bathrooms. Very good and I highly recommend. Would love to visit again and stay for longer next time. The breakfast had a good spread from different cakes, bread, proscuitto, cheese, ham, sausages, scambled and boiled eggs, cereals, fruits and many other items.
Even if some features can appear dated everything is well maintained and most of all you have everything you need to spend a great week end or even a small holiday. The surroundings are really nice but you can also spend the entire day at the hotel and have anyhow enough entertainment. Suggested for week end for families or couples or even for small holidays.
We had a very nice stay at the hotel and the owner, Roberta, did everything she could to make us enjoy our staying. The room was very clean, the breakfast was good, there was free parking at the hotel and the swimming pool was very nice. It is also a good place to relax as it is very quiet and peaceful.
For an older, dated property it was definitely clean and well maintained. The staff was friendly and helpful even though not Fluent in English. Great coffee, though not surprised being in Italy.
Fast WiFi too.
Wonderful, atmospheric hotel with character and friendly staff. No complaints at all. It's serviceable, clean, the pool is great, rooms are spacious and great value for money. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.
Nice hotel on the hills of Terme. Especially clean air and clean water exists. For short getaways, ideal hotel. Around this region, I think it is a good opportunity to spend calm and quiet time.
Fantastic art hotel with really beautiful collection.
lovely settings with great external swimming pool. Great breakfast and excellent value for money.
