I liked the fact that everyone at the reception spoke good English. They were all so nice, organised transportation for a tour we wanted to do (everything was done and confirmed in minutes!), the laundry was quick. The room was spacious and the beds comfy. Enough space to store our luggage. Location close to everything :)

Wow this place is so good! Super clean, spacious dorms with really high ceilings. Other dorms tend to squash you in so being here was so luxurious. Lots of space for bags, open and airy bathrooms, soap, free towels, large and bright common space, friendly staff. Beds have good privacy curtains, plugs, and soft glow personal lights. Aircon was perfect, not freezing and not hot. Real cotton sheets too so you’re not sticking to the bed. Hostels with polyester sheets kill me. haha.
I wish the standard at this hostel was normal.
My only gripe is one of the male toilets didn’t have a toilet seat. Not sure why this is a thing in Laos.
