Hotel was in a good location, located about a 15 minute walk from the main Riga bus (for the airport) and train stations. The neighbourhood was quite vibrant, with lots of decent bars and food places round every corner. Hotel was great value for money, and the staff were friendly. Also had a couple of fridges in the room which was handy. Flight was delayed, so didn't check in till gone 1am, but reception was staffed 24/7.

My room had a lovely garden view, very comfortable beds and it was a great place to rest and work. They allowed me to be in the restaurant to use the microwave and work a little bit, so I appreciate it. There a supermarket and a tramway stop less than 2 minutes from the entrance, making it very convenient.

Good location near railway station, Origo shopping centre and old town, but just away from the main road
I was able to store my luggage on arrival at 1100 (daily train from Vilnius), then return to check in later, allowing more time to explore the city on a lovely day.
Efficient check in - this makes a difference; it should take seconds, sadly at some hotels it remains a chore
