This property deserves top marks when it comes to staff. All of them are very well trained, everyone is kind. That is the biggest advantage to choose this hotel. In addition to such friendly staff, you can sometimes forget about certain shortcomings. The food is varied and delicious.

Staff were very attentive and lovely. The rooms and restaurants were very clean! The buffet was really good, many options and variety! Loved how every day had a different type of cuisine daily so we never got tired of the food. Would definitely recommend going atleast going half board if you plan on having dinners at the hotel for the majority of your stay, as you do get value for money this way.
The beach and proximity to the beach was amazing!
We were surprised that the snorkelling, kayaking and other water activities were actually completely free for those staying at the hotel which was a massive bonus! We thoroughly enjoyed the pedal boat.
They have a lot of sports and water aerobics on daily which is also nice.
Would definitely recommend this resort and we have thoroughly enjoyed our stay, thank you so much ☺️

The food was delicious and we stayed in a five star after and actually preferred the food at La Pirogue. Huge range and delicious.
Coconut beach and grounds just made it a perfect setting.
Enough beach beds and shade options for families with babies.
Free beach water.
And once again…..excellent staff, they couldn’t have been nicer.

The apartment was spacious, with a large balcony to relax on and a clean, sparkling shared swimming pool. Each room had its own ensuite. The sea view and sunsets were stunning from the balcony. There weren't many people staying at the apartments and there was plenty of parking available. The host was friendly and attentive.

Flic and Flac has a great beach and lots of good restaurants. It is very lively, particularly on a Saturday and Sunday. The restaurants that we enjoyed were Chutneys, Sunset Garden, Mosaic and a Thai restaurant that was a little further out in Tamarin called Ousaporn. Lovely garden settings in both Sunset Gardens and Ousaporn.
I recommend hiring a car. The Black River Gorge is stunning. The views of the gorge, waterfalls and to the bays are outstanding.

Being on the west coast of the island means that it isn't as...
Being on the west coast of the island means that it isn't as windy as the east coast or as wet i.e. rainy. The beach is sheltered by a coral reef; as are many of the beaches on Mauritius but there are also resident pods of bottlenose and spinner dolphins off of the west coast of the island.
The boat trips to swim with dolphins and also visit the island on the SW coast of Mauritius go from Flic-en-Flac beach so cost a lot less than from other parts of the island - worth visiting more than one tour operator to get the best price.
Flic-en-Flac is not too far from the airport and being about half way up it is easy to get to most parts of the island in a day to see things.
Lots of restaurants to choose from too.

There are many wonderful places to dine around Flic en Flac with restaurants to cater to everyone's tastes.
There is a big supermarket, some bars and on weekends the place is livelier with music and sega shows. (not to be missed)
The beach is clean and the lagoon is clear and safe to swim.
Sand is clean and there are Filao trees to keep you in the shade.
The water is warm throughout the day.
There is a big shopping mall 10 mins away where you have modern shops, bowling alley, clubs, food places including Mcdonalds and KFC.
The local cuisine is so good so we tried to eat local whenever possible.
We went to Grand Baie which is very nice too but we preferred the charm of Flic en Flac and Flic en Flac was more relaxing.
We liked the idea of visiting Mauritius and were very keen to stay at the Anelia, but unfortunately the Mauritian authorities prevented our cruise ship from docking for two days and instead of staying at the Anelia we spent two days viewing Mauritius from off-shore. To be fare the Hotel Manager would have allowed us to slip our reservation, but the return flights could not be moved. Therefore we missed out on the opportunity of staying at the Anelia, although it looked to be a very attractive location.
Good location close to the beach, resturants, bars and a supermarket. The atmosphere at the hotel was really friendly. There was common areas such as a balcony, shared kitchens and the garden/pool area that all guests was welcome to use.
The breakfast was good and the woman serving the breakfast very kind. Patrick was really welcoming and helpfull and gladly answered all our questions and gave us recommendations for our upcoming stay in Port Louis. We where very pleased with our stay at Lariad BnB
The host Mrs. Marylyn was away from the town, but Mr. Gino handled everything very well. He was following up since our arrival in Mauritius till we reached the apartment, and he was ready at the property with the keys to welcome us despite the fact we got delayed a bit more than the expected arrival time. Mr. Gino ensured to check with us every day about our stay and provided help and guidance as required. Thanks much Gino for making us feel at home. Happy to stay with you again on our next trip!
We loved everything about Le Kokoti! It was very comfortable to come back to after a day at the beach or exploring Flic en Flac. The beach was just a minute walk away and plenty of restaurants also within walking distance. Bina made our experience wonderful and accommodated us when we told her we’d be arriving earlier than we thought. there’s secure parking available for those with a car. The neighborhood is quiet and safe. When we come back to this area, we will be staying at Le Kokoti again!
Location was very close to the beach, bus stop, super market, restaurants. The owner and manager were very caring. They are prompt to offer any assistance. Secured parking available at the property. They notified me that the apartment is ready even before we reached Mauritius. Wonderful stay. Will definitely recommend families. Size of the 2 bedroom apartment was spacious for a couple and 3 grown kids. Very quiet and calm place. Will definitely come back.
Amazing experience and a wonderful apartment. Strongly recommended to visit when in Mauritius. Really liked the self checkin feature with everything so well organised. The flat had almost every utility item one can use.
Apartment was very clean, with good fragrance all over. Amazing view from the balconies. The host was very helpful and always available for contact.
Give no second thoughts before booking Sandstone Apartment.
We stayed for a week in Mauritius, and chose Flic en Flac as our accommodation location. The staff were very professional, helpful and friendly - thank you for welcoming us, and making our stay so enjoyable. The bar and restaurant were also great! We were able to do a lot of the activities on the West Coast from Seastar (7 Coloured Sands, Chamarel Rum Distillery, Le Morne hike, Tamarind Falls hike, snorkeling in Grand Baie).
Great location in Mauritius, close to the Ocean, about 15 min on foot.
Apartment itself is very cosy with nice terrace, comfortable to stay for a longer time with everything that is needed.
Really great host, we’ve stayed few days during cyclone, we’ve been informed with relevant information during that time and have not been left alone.
Brand new place, and very clean. It has everthing we needed. Tv has netflix and other apps. Owner is very kind person. We stayed in another apartment before here on our Mauritius trip that we regret. Because you need a car if you are staying here. If you have car everywhere is in driving distance from this house (max 1 hour)
THIS PROPERTY IS AMAZING!!! Our host Natacha was incredible — so flexible and communicative! You truly have everything you need and more there, resulting in the perfect vacation! We kept extending because we didn’t want to leave! Thank you so much for making Mauritius even more magical for me and my friends, Natacha!
Whole building is renovated and feels like new. It is very close to the beach Flic en Flac and there is a lot of free parking places behind the building. Very safe and quiet area. Cécile was always helpful and very friendly. Swimming pool was always open and it was good for relaxing with kids.
The apartment was just completely fabulous! From the booking to our arrival and to leaving, the communication and the welcoming from the owner Johanna and the manager Cecile were exceptional! We would definitely stay here again and recommend this accomodation to anyone staying in Mauritius.
Staff were extremely pleasant and helpful.
The location is excellent, just across the street from arguably the best beach in Mauritius.
While the food choice was not over the top, the quality of food was excellent, including tuna, prawns, octopus, squids, and crab soup for dinner.
The place was clean, comfy , near the best beaches in Mauritius.
The owner representative was professional enough to facilitate our presence in Mauritius.
I prefer this place , and I recommend it for all , but don't equipped it all year because I want to come again
Very nice host (we had some very nice chats, he gave us tips about restaurants, what to do in the area, asked us about our whole trip on Mauritius), good AC, nice garden, fan in the room, very cold fridge, spacious shower, nice rooftop.
Comfortable 2 bedroom apt with ample parking. Walking distance to the beach and all the resturants. Deepak was a wonderful host made sure we had everything we needed. Defintely will stay here again if we come back to Mauritius.
Very nice and clean apartment in a quiet and safe area facing the ocean. The owner is a high class gentleman who was caring and provided all needed services and information. Highly recommended.
Dan the owner was really nice and even bought some groceries for us since we came late.
The apartment was clean, really close to the beach, big and comfterable! Thank you!
