The location is in the middle of Uruapan, a block from the main square. Uruapan is a very Mexican working town, without a lot of tourists. It is where avocados from the surrounding agricultural areas are processed and shipped out. There is a wonderful mercado a 15-minute walk away. The hotel is quiet and has a lovely inner courtyard.
