Hotel Paço de Vitorino, hotel in Ponte de Lima

Dating back to the 16th century, Hotel Paço de Vitorino is located a 10-minute drive from Ponte de Lima centre, featuring a Baroque-style garden.

This hotel is gorgeous. The perfect mix between historic and modern. We stayed in an old stable converted barn and the room was amazing and spacious! Staff are so friendly and even made us a welcome hamper as we arrive late. George have us a tour of the grounds and the old wine cellar which was very cool to see back to the 1600s aspects of the property. The breakfast was also wonderful. We can’t wait to come back again soon - hopefully when the weather is better so we can enjoy the pool too! Thanks for a great stay :)

Vinha by NHôme, hotel in Ponte de Lima

Situated in Ponte de Lima, 32 km from Shipyards of Viana do Castelo, Vinha by NHôme features accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a terrace.

Most magical place located in a vineyard in a small village North of Porto. We stayed for one night and loved it so much that we simply shopped for tapas in the supermarket near by to enjoy the property even more instead of going to a restaurant for dinner. Perfect for a couple's getaway, or a small group of friends that wants to relax and reconnect like us.

Ponte de Lima is a perfect place for a pilgrim on the Camino to take a rest day. Perfect place to get your laundry done properly, catch up with your sleep. Lots of nice restaurants to eat in. Many interesting alleys to walk through and enough sights to take in a day.

Ponte de Lima is a remarkably well-preserved, historically...

Ponte de Lima is a remarkably well-preserved, historically important village in Northern Portugal. It has been a crossroads for centuries. Probably for a Druids-like culture, definitely for the Romans, for hundreds of thousands of pilgrims walking the historic Camino (Caminho in Portuguese), as well as for people traveling east-to-west from the mountains to the Atlantic. Today, Ponte de Lima continues to be an important crossroads as well as gathering space for walking & hiking, cyclists, various forms of boating (with a champion training center along the Rio Lima), horse riding, international gardening and more. It's hard to fully explain how much cultural importance there is in Ponte de Lima for the Minho (region), Portugal (as a country), and, indeed, all of Europe in such a small village. Well worth visiting. I spent three weeks there, fell in love with the village, and like it so much that I intend to move there.

The village is beautiful as well as the bridge, which we walked from end to end. There were several good restaurants to choose from. Everything is within walking distance. There are great sculptures spread throughout town. We would come again.

My wife and I have been visiting Ponte de Lima for 30 years. It has changed and become much busier over the years. However, it has managed to retain its friendly low key ambience. It is still possible to recognise the town of years ago despite the changes. A truly lovely place.

Picturesque, regional town, with old architecture and great walks within the town and its hinterland. The town opens onto a broad riverfront with great views including of a historic multi-arched bridge which gives the town its name.

Ponte de Lima is a historic town, with a medieval and a Roman bridge across the Lima. Fascinating. We stayed there overnight as part of a Minho cycling trip (self-arranged). Had a lovely supper at the Restaurante Encanada.

The location is wonderful and large with plenty of places to explore, such as a gorge, vineyards, pools and even a chapel. The owner, who also designed the property was very welcoming and the place is a short drive from major attractions in north Portugal. Definitely the property has a lot a character, is authentic in maintaining its original appeal with all the new amenities that are available there and everything is curated to detail. One of the best places to relax and enjoy slow country life away from modern life.

Wonderful friendly happy people. Very clean. Easy check in / out. The price is the best we have found on whole cycle trip through Northern Portugal. A sort of kitchen area with utensils, plates etc and some cakes, bread, jam, coffee, tea, kettle and sink. Beautiful view from the room. We really enjoyed. It is over the river from ponte De Lima. We walked 30 mins in and took a cheap taxi back. Recommend this accomodation 100% :)

For a one week stay, the hotel offers all the facilities working and the atmosphere to enjoy a relaxing time. Spacious room and elegant bathroom. The breakfast includes a nice variety of healthy products. The staff always got a smile, and turned out to be very caring even after we left: they could notify us about a forgotten item we left behind, and manage a way we could take it back. Very thoughtful, thank you a lot!

The location couldn't be better. It is within walking distance to the horse show at the Expolima and to all the restaurants. The room looks new and the air-conditioning worked well. The host was extremely helpful and even researched the event I was attending to answer all my questions. The building does not have parking, but there is plenty within a short walking distance

The location is wonderful - we liked the quiet place surrounded by wineyards - it's on the outskirts of the small town, but as we had our own car, it was easy to drive to the centre of Ponte de Lima for dinner - there is a large parking lot The breakfast on the terrace next to the pool was exceptional - it's a very welcoming place, the owner is a great host.

Very tired after a long day on the Camino, I was very happy the hotel was right on the path and beautifully located on the promenade and steps from the restaurants. Breakfast was worth waiting for - maybe 7 o'clock start - large buffet selection. Room and bathroom were small but all upgraded, modern, clean, and comfy. Front desk staff were so nice.

We've booked our night only a day in advance. The accommodation was small but very cozy and comfortable. Even equipped with a water boiler and some tea bags. It's a fantastic place for a short visit to the beautiful town of Ponte de Lima. ...or if you are a Peregrino on the Camino Portugues with a wish for privacy: there's not much better!

We are on the Camino Portuguese and stayed here on our way. The hotel host Christina was incredibly helpful—she gave us a rundown on the next day of the trail, set up luggage transport for us, and even called in a reservation for us for our next stop. Very friendly. We wanted to stay longer.
