Le Duc was the best hotel on our Seychelles island hopping tour, so much so that we cancelled the remaining days in La Digue and returned to Le Duc for some relaxing quality time.
A lot has been said about the New ocean rooms. They are right by the pool in a child free area. The beach is just a few steps away. The sea was always calm with beautiful views. The beds and pillows were comfortable, the shower and water pressure very good. Any issues with the room were responded to immediately. Two water bottles are complimentary per day, which is very convenient. Cookies and fresh beach towels were provided daily.
The gym is very good as well, apparently better than in Raffles, and we spent some time there every day.
Most of all we liked the food and the service at breakfast and dinner. Special thanks to the outstanding attentive and consistent service provided by our friends Mohammad and Mr. Da Silva who were always genuinely happy to see us and serve us. It is always the people who make a holiday the best. The food was fresh and varied. We experienced both buffet and a la carte dinners and both options were very good and plentiful. After our return to the hotel we were happy to treat ourselves and give the stomachs a break from the bad food in other places. If we knew better beforehand, we would have spent most of our days in the Seychelles in this hotel.

The breakfast was not very rich, but was sufficient, fresh and tasty. There was a lack of fresh vegetables at dinner, but there was a variety of fresh fish and seafood delicacies. Very responsive and smiling staff. Many thanks to the staff for the help to organize a delicious surprise for my husband's birthday.

Extremely rude hostess. For the money they charge they wont even give basic amenities. The breakfast is super basic.
We had blanket/ sleeping duvets missing for two straight days even when we mentioned they gave us bedsheets and asked us to manage. When I asked them for an iron for the room - they said come to the reception to collect it.
Overall it felt like they go the extra mile to be rude hosts. The restaurent is managed by a sperate team and thank god that they are not as bad as the host/ reception lady.

Honestly, me and my wife, we were absolutely amazed! We expected nice accomodation, but this was the top of our honeymoon. Room is pretty bright and clean. Michelle and her family are the best hosts ever. We have got amazing welcome after long journey from Mahé. Also we can totally recommend homemade traditional dinner. We will remember forever!

Really very beautifull, clean, fully equipped, roomy and quiet accommodation (quiet except late June/July, when wind is strong). View from teracce is excellent. Very good free wifi. Self-catering apartment, close (300 m) to GRP Supermarket - "Indian Convenience" at Google maps. Open every day, you can find there practically all necessary for cooking, when you want to cook. And others... Payment via card in GRP is possible and without problems. But if you want, Didi & Sebastiano, owner of Jardin Marron, can cook for you - menu list is available and dish is very tastefull. Close to beautifull Anse Lazio, about 35 minutes per foot. And other nice, quiet and lonely small beaches are near. For Praslin, we didn´t need to rent a car for our 15 days stay, but it depends... Transport from Praslin airport to Jardin & back was arranged by owner (reccomended). Bus is cheap (12 SCR to anywhere/July 2022). From Jardin you can do Pasquiere track per foot to Island Pizzeria on opposite side of island (180 SCR for 2 was most expensive) and back - about 8 km, don´t worry. Or continue per foot to Anse Georgette viewpoint, then to Anse Lazio and back to Jardin Marron (round track about 18 km). More other activities are possible. Shortened, everything was OK - very recommended.

This area is very quiet and peaceful.
This area is very quiet and peaceful. Excellent for recharging your batteries. There isn't much to do in the area so you need to be aware that this is for pure relaxation more than anything.
The bus timings are a little unreliable and some of the drivers seem to drive as if they're in a race, which makes it all a bit uncomfortable.
The ferry port services are very good and ferries are reliable. There is a dive centre next to the port - if that's your thing - good rates and friendly staff too. You can charter a boat from them also.

I was on foot so didn’t get to explore much, but the scenery was beautiful. I snorkelled a little and saw plenty of fish, though there was better snorkelling when I went on a separate tour (as expected). Overall, very scenic place but you’d need a car to make the most of it

Nice location, well positioned to "everywhere" on the island. But we recommend to rent and use a car against just using a public transport - even if also with it you can however to get nearly to all possible places on the island, but you might lose a lot of time, which you could otherwise enjoy on beaches, jungle, etc.

We stayed here for a week for our honeymoon. The hotel is in good location, fitted in beautiful garden, with free parking spaces. The room itself is larger than standard, clean, with balcony and stunning view. We booked half board - tasty breakfast with pancakes, croissants, hotel-made jam, eggs, tea & coffee. Three course dinner was luxurious. There was always a choice between a fish and a no-fish dish. Staff was always nice, friendly and helpful and infinity pool is perfect for chilling after or before the day
beautiful hotel. real vacation vibe. near the ferry harbour (one can get on foot from the ferry to the hotel). nice helpful staff. The email sent by the hotel representative before arriving was very helpful with offers of reasonable car rental, and a link to a good and reliable tour company. nice breakfast. intimate and lovely infinity pool. amazing view of the sunrise from the room balcony.
The room was comfortable and spacious. And the hotel was well located next to the beach. The manager, Suren, was AMAZING! Very kind and attentive and he truly made our stay infinitely better. He helped to arrange our rental car as well as a boat tour to 3 islands… among many other helpful and kind moments of special attention. He is a gem and raises this hotel by a full point for sure.
Everything was supper nice , the staff were very helpful especially Gabriela made our stay very nice and comfy
The Food was very tasty!!!
They have 3 main pools and an easy access to the beach
I Recommend Hotel le duc for people that wants to Relax, have a good food , Romantic nights, spa & wellness, activities and of course the hotel itself is Very beautiful with spacious Rooms!
We loved the villa - spacious, beautiful grounds, nice swimming pool. Privacy! Sherelle and Jacques were wonderful. Jacques took us on his gorgeous boat around the islands, which was one of the top highlights of our 2-week stay on Seychelles. The swimming pool is new and beautiful, the sitting area around it as well. Overall, we were extremely satisfied!
We stayed in one of the houses.
The quiet setting on the hillside in the garden/forest with the beautiful view over the Bay is amazing.
The House is Big and clean and all staff are very friendly.
We loved the infinity pool.
Breakfast is included and is very delicious.
Rental car is recommended.
We snorkled with a sea turtle in front of the hotel.
Wonderful location, the view from the room is breathtaking. The hotel has a private beach in the bay with very calm and clear waters (no big waves compared to other beaches on the island). The staff is very nice, always looking to help with anything, cleaning staff does its job very well, and the food is great! You will not want to leave!
The staff were very friendly and helpful. 2 staff that really stood out and were always there to help were Andrew and the chef Indika. The beach connected to the hotel was excellent and the food too was amazing both breakfast and dinner.
The beach facing room was perfect and very cozy. Made our vacation spectacular.
I absolutely loved the hotel, everything was amazing. The staff is great, the facilities are lovely, it felt very exclusive and private. The room and the view blew our minds! Being so close to the beach, the food in the restaurants so tasty, there’s nothing we didn’t love! The wifi worked in every corner of the hotel
This hotel exceeded my expectations. It's located basically on the white sandy beach, that narrow road on the map between hotel and the beach is a very low traffic street. We were really satisfied with the restaurant, we ate breakfast, sometimes dinner and lunch there as well.
The grounds of the property are very beautiful. The location is good but you do have to walk through the hotel next door to get to the beach. There is a bus stop directly on the road outside the property which can take you towards the jetty or alternatively, Anse Lazio.
- Next to Côte D’Or where you have some restaurants and supermarkets.
- the beach if the hotel is beautiful.
- the house keeping staff is extremely pleasant.
- the room is beautiful and spacious.
The ambiance, the staff, the food. Excellent service overall! The staff was very helpfull and friendly, The food on the dinner was delicious and well served and the view of the hotel is amazing!
