We had a very pleasant overnight stay and were welcomed warmly. There were many guests who seemed to be on a meditation type course. The food was Indian and delicious. We enjoyed our time in the swimming pool.

I wanted to share my fantastic experience at Mae Rim Grace with you. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, and the breakfasts were perfect.
The rainforest villa was also spotlessly clean and tidy.
If you are thinking about planning a big family holiday, I can definitely vote for Mae Rim Grace as a fantastic destination.

Loved all the activities we did, kayaking, caving, white water rafting, Thai boxing, zip line and elephant sanctuary. Our hosts were excellent at ensuring we either got picked up by the activity hosts or providing a driver to get us where we wanted to go. We should have ensured that we were there for a weekend as the best Chiang Mai markets appear to be at the weekend. The night market was okay for souvenirs but I wouldn't recommend the food options.

It’s a quiet country side to enjoy Mother Nature’s gift and the simple way of life. There are activities to keep you occupied and if you wish to just soak into the peaceful surrounding it is best place close by Chiang Mai city.

The Mae Rim area is a beautiful mountainous area located north of Chiang Mai. There is a lot to do in the area like waterfalls, botanic garden, ziplines, ATV trips, visits to elephant parks, but also a nice teak wood palace and tempel.
Large rooms, great hot shower, places to sit, nice pool. It is like living in a garden. There are tall trees, birds, shade and very pleasant. This resort has limited capacity so it will never be crowded. The hosts respect your privacy. The rooms were cleaned and prepared every day. The location is excellent for visiting the local attractions. We stayed during Covid restrictions and national holidays, and yet we still found nice cafes and activities to fill our days. You own transportation will make this convenient.
The resort is very quiet and in a stunning location surrounded by nature. We had dinner there and the food was incredible! Our little garden villa was extremely comfortable and beautiful. Every detail is thought of - from the beautiful patio overlooking trees, to the semi-outdoor shower, the plants, the provision of slippers etc. Pool was for once refreshing (in many other places in Thailand, due to the heat the water of pools can be very warm). Definitely a nice getaway from the business of Chiang Mai!
This place is not close to the city centre but it was amazing spot and we decided to come back to sleep here for another night. Here you can find everything you need. A full equipped kitchen, spacious room, amazing ambiywitb beautiful paint, a useful parking spot and an amazing garden that stole our heart. Moreover the owner is an amazing person and she tried to help us with everything we needed. We will absolutely come back to stay here whenever in Chiang mai.
The hotel is at the bottom of the hill so our driver was relieved not to have to drive the 20 minutes up the winding hill to our previous location 15kms away. The hut-type accommodations were fine - clean and adequate with a little patio for two chairs and a table. It's a very leafy location so the sun isn't able to break through much- not reaching the patio or, 3/4 of the pool area. Meals were good. Very very strong coffee, beware.
my experience at the resort was nothing short of perfection. The combination of breathtaking natural beauty, impeccable service, luxurious accommodations, outstanding dining, made it an unforgettable getaway. I strongly recommend this resort to anyone seeking an unparalleled and rejuvenating escape.
It was a beautiful old-style Hotel, with comfy bed, spacious rooms, beautiful warm water, and nice breakfast. The service people were very friendly. In the near there are more possibilities to eating. It is very valuable for money.
It’s nice and clean. The garden is very lush and nicely keep and swimming pool is nice and clean. I love to spend my time by the pool with great cocktails. The food at the restaurant is excellent…!!! This hotel is recommended…!!!
Very comfortable and peaceful. The villas are totally private. Beautiful nature surroundings, big pool, comfortable bed, nice shower and products. Luxury place. Staff is friendly. I didn’t drive and they offer to call a taxi.
The best hotel I’ve ever been privileged enough to stay at. Gorgeous building, and it only gets more breathtaking when you walk in. High quality rooms and high quality service
Very friendly owners, great food, wonderful location, bungalows give you more privacy than other similar properties I've been to, only a 30 minute drive from Chiang Mai.
Sukantara Cascade Resort has a pristine and serene ambience, close to nature, quite unlike the usual flavour of holidaying that one looks forward to in Thailand.
