Fenwick Island was a pleasant surprise.
Fenwick Island was a pleasant surprise. We have visited some other beaches on the Eastern Shore, but never Fenwick. It is much smaller than the other beaches and much quieter. The beach was never crowded and we were always able to find a spot close to the water with plenty of room to spread out with beach umbrellas, chairs, and blankets. Lifeguards are onsite. Highly recommend it for young families or those looking for a quieter version of the larger beach communities.

Great beach location if you don't want the hustle of Ocean City. Has all the beach amenities and local activities without the craziness of OC. Having a young family, Fenwick is my top choice. Beach is clean, water is nice and life guards are on duty.

I loved the staff, location, pool etc.The hotel was reasonability priced but dated in decor. I liked the fact that it was not as crowded as ocean city but close for all attractions. Our family stayed at Bethany beach so it was just a 5 minute drive to there. Restaurants in area easy to walk to. We ate at Matt’s fish camp and loved it but go early as it gets really crowded after 5.
The hotel is one block from the beach. There is a shower outside, so you may rinse yourself and your gear when you return from the beach. They also offer service to rent beach great, but for that, you need to call a head. No big issue, but just reserve the time.
There are breakfast options near, so although the hotel does not offer one, you can get to breakfast quickly. Even by walking. The same goes for dinner options.
This hotel was excellent. It was very clean and the amenities were great! The kind bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was a nice size, esp the shower, and it was nice having a mini kitchen and kerig machine. We even swam in the outdoor heated pool, which we had to ourselves. Our breakfast was included, it was delicious and made to order. I would definitely stay here again!
Beautiful newer property very close to the beach in Fenwick Island. We loved the rooftop pool. Good parking at the hotel. Hot coffee in the lobby available all day was a great extra. The kitchen in the room is perfectly sized and equipped. Fabulous decor. The front desk staff and managers went above and beyond to make this birthday trip very special ! Thank you :)
Nice hotel with a relaxed atmosphere and located just a few steps from a beautiful beach. Staff is very friendly and restaurant has good breakfast options as well as good quality food served at the roof top bar. Rooms are spacious and comfortable and lobby has free coffee and board games for the kids.
It was nostalgic. Like the old family owned hotels and motels. Plenty of carefree parking. A little tiny balcony of our own. A very nice pool it was large clean and had ample lounge chairs and tables. The air conditioner worked fine and the plumbing was good. The refrigerator works good.
Location was great. Oceanside and a quick, one block to the beach. Staff was always, efficient, friendly and helpful. Restaurant food was delicious.with option to eat in or take out. I stayed in April which is off season and this hotel was gem of quality and comfort.
Hotel is in a great location, close to the beach, restaurants, amusement parks. Friendly, accommodating staff. Nice pool. Our room was conveniently located @ floor level with a window view of the street, so both a plus and a minus. Equipped with an gas range!
Hotel location is excellent, just across the street from the beach, and front desk very friendly. Parking was ample. Had we wanted to enjoy the rest of the day after we checked out we were allowed to use the parking, pool and hotel facilities.
It's not the Ritz but it's a FANTASTIC motel! Close to the beach, restaurants and shops. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The pool was awesome! I've stayed there before and will do so again for a quick getaway to Fenwick Island.
The location was great! A short walk to the beach plus a pool on premises. It was also less crowded than many other beach locations at this time of year. Was a nice hotel room.
The rooms were decent size and the closeness to the beach was perfect. The beach was nice and quiet. The hotel was within driving distance to ocean city and rehoboth.
