Cabin was spacious. Loved the comfortable couch and table. The TV was great and working. The bed was clean and comfortable. Very cozy. We loved sitting on the front porch even though it was raining. Having a bathroom with shower was wonderful.

Awesome place to stay traveling through the Adirondacks for the weekend. Perfect location, lake is few meters from the hotel window. The room was very cosy and clean. Very friendly service.

Many trips now to Old Forge as I meet high school friends there for golf and many great places to eat. We golf Thendara in Old Forge, Inlet and this year at Woodgate Pines in Boonville. Always eat at The Steak House on Tuesday nite and always try to have breakfast at The Pancake Place. Breakfast twice now at The Front Door/Back Door across from the movie theatre. Dinner after Inlet golf at The Screamen Eagle in Inlet and on Wednesday we have tried a few places here and there.

The room had a musty smell at first. Bar soap would be nice.
The room had a musty smell at first. Bar soap would be nice. And a microwave.
Check in was nice and easy. It's between Inlet and the shops at Old Forge which is perfect. Looks like there is much to do in season. That would be the best time to go and enjoy the facility.

Town was very cute, though tiny.
Town was very cute, though tiny. Lots to do around the area, especially hiking and water sports. We rented a boat at Rivetts Marine and had a really nice ride across the four lakes despite the threat of thunderstorms that day. In town, visit the candy shop, and eat at Walt's Diner and Tony Harpers, both had really good food.

Being first week in June OF wasn't as busy as other times Most accommodations are priced to season and understandable in resort areas of NYS. Most are roadside motel types and priced as resort accommodations. Many places to eat, recreate and indulge.
Spent most of our time on Inlet and Thendara golf courses. Then at Camp Laura where our golf group spent their evenings.

Room was full of bugs.
Room was full of bugs. Bed had bees and other insects all over it. Bathroom ceiling was covered with bugs. Air conditioner smelled like mold and had tons of dirt all over the front of it. Very poor condition. Bed was awful and smelled
NATURE, beautiful Summer Nature, Woods, Air, Lakes, Fish, Activities, although many closed 2020, SOME OPEN... MORE THAN ALL PEACE AND SOLACE, FROM ALL THAT God has made. mountains, trails, bears, etc....
While there were no meals on site Old Forge has delightful places for eating. The room was a bit shabby but clean and reasonably comfortable. TV channels were okay (we had a full day of relatively hard rain), and the pool was nice, being indoors. Staff was very helpful, but WiFi was negligible to non-existent in our room and the phone to the office did not work. Location was fine, on the edge of town.
I loved the overall feel of this hotel. It was warm and cozy. The heat worked in out room and the bath water was always hot no matter what time we took showers. I loved the inclosed pool. The water was warm and did not have a chemical smell and I loved the wood and all the plants. Made it feel tropical.
Perfect for our weekend getaway together (3 friends in need of a break from the daily grind)! Gorgeous view right on Moose river and very convenient to restaurants and shops in town. Very homey feel inside, comfortable, and decorated exactly how you would hope when vacationing in Old Forge 😊
We loved the family/pet friendly atmosphere. We were looking for a scenic overlook in a peaceful setting and this was definitely the place to find it! Located outside of Old Forge and commercial aspects but close enough to other amenities on Fourth Lake. When we wanted privacy- we got it.
The lady who checked us in was very nice. It was a quick drive into old forge. I think next time we might choose to stay a little closer to town so we can walk everywhere and avoid dealing with parking in town. The room and bed was fairly comfortable, met our needs for one night.
The Country Club Motel is a quaint, quiet place to stay in the Old Forge area. It's CLOSE to the Thendara Golf course - the reason for my stay - and close to all the good places to eat. If you like quiet, simple comfortable accommodations, this motel is the best!
Views over the lake, staff helpfulness, location, veranda, detached from all other rooms of hotel (inc above/below), decent little kitchenette, fire pit on the beach, town and restaurants was great too
The staff was friendly and efficient. The room was clean. We had neighbors but the sound did not carry far. The location was close enough to Old Forge to be accessible but far enough to be quiet.
Beautiful lakeside location. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The lodge feels like a home rental, not a hotel. Breakfast bar has Keurig coffee, yogurts, cereal and fruits - help yourself.
a very unique and special place, one of the best hotels we've been too in this trip and in USA in general.
if i'd have to choose one place to go back to - this is it.
serene and beautiful
this is a family and pet friendly Adirondack hotel.. Nothing fancy. Very comfortable beds, helpful and friendly staff.
It's clean and exactly as represented.
