We really liked the small home feel to it. Really comfortable. I like that you can park right next to your room. Having a living area and room separate was nice.

Pool was great, it was heated, so we could come back from the beach and continue the fun. Easily walkable to the beach. Rooms were well equipped with a fairly full kitchen. Beds were comfortable, bathroom was well designed. Staff went out of their way to reunite a lost bag with my 10 year old, so extremely happy with the service. Breakfast was well stocked, with lovely staff. Even a secondhand bookshop, where you could swap a book.

Port A is one of my favorite beaches. I was raised near Galveston beach and I would pick Port A over that beach anyday. Galveston beach is great, but conjested. In Port A there is a sense of community, even for visitors. They welcome into every type of restaurant from McDonald to top dollar steak and fresh seafood. It is a family friendly environment for sure. Please parents, control your kids in restaurants. We do not think they are as cute as you think. (My pet peave.) Golf (beach) Cart rentals are a must! Park your car and forget about it. Really unwind and enjoy yourself. If you want family, romance, sports, culture, music, or art, it's there. Souvenior Shops are a variety of great items to take home to your friends or a special person. JUST GO!

Port Aransas has been a mini getaway or short vacation for as long as I can remember. My parents brought me here, we would bring our children here, and now our children bring out grandchildren here. We never get bored or tired of Port Aransas. We love small town life and everything from hotels, to restaurants to short drives to find the perfect sunset are always great.

Very touristy town but lots of things to do and you can stay right on the beach or in any number of rentals near the beach or farther in town. The food can be a little pricey but the restaurants we visited were VERY good for the price. We went fishing but didn’t catch anything. 😥 But I will go again. The price was VERY good (March) for this time of year and the weather was breezy and cool. We could see and hear the ocean from our 2nd floor condo.

My family and I have been going to Port Aransas for many years now...especially during thanksgiving week/weekend. After cooking Thanksgiving Dinner for 20+ years, one year my wife and I decided to do like the movie Christmas with the Kranks and, rather than stay home for the usual Thanksgiving dinner, we decided to start enjoying thanksgiving on the coast. So, with all the kids and grandkids and other family, the first year we literally had hot dogs and marshmallows over an open fire on the beach for our thanksgiving meal. Other years we have ate out at the many restaurants, or heated up a pre-cooked HEB dinner in our hotel rooms, or had something cooked and picked up from a local restaurant like Macdaddy's (yum!). We try to have a different type of Thanksgiving dinner each year. Since then, it has become a holiday tradition for the whole family to meet down there and have fun... and each year bringing more family members who heard how much fun it was from others.

Miles of beach access, great places to stay, various fishing opportunities; be it deep sea, bay, pier, jetty, surf, etc. Easy access to Corpus Christi if wanted/needed. I've been coming to Port-A for 56 years, starting when it was nothing more than a sleepy little fishing town.

VERY FRIENDLY AND SAFE TOWN TO VISIT WITH FAMILY TO ENJOY THE BEACH OR FISHING. SMALL TOWN BUT THERE IS SMALL MOM AND POP LOCAL STORES AND GROCERY STORES WOULD NOT CHANGE A THING BOAT ADVENTURES ALL ALONG THE DOCKS FAMILY AND FISHING
The location was nice and very close to the beach and other main areas. To be honest that's all I can really think of that I liked about the place, nothing else really stood out and they over sold how nice the hotel it. It's basically just a motel, like I know hotels make their rooms look nicer than they are (I've stayed at plenty) but this place really did everything they could to play it up. Just pay a bit extra somewhere else bc this place wasn't really that worth it now that I think back on it
We had an awesome 5 night stay at this hotel. Front desk and housekeeping staff are amazingly kind and friendly. Room was very spacious and immaculately clean. Comfortable beds. Pool is 90° and perfect for evening swimming. Super close to the beach. Breakfast was good everyday. Lots of items to choose from.
Next time we are in Port A, we will definitely stay here again! Thank you for helping us have a wonderful Spring Break.
Our room was very clean and well furnished. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The back of the property opened up to the sand road on the beach. we used the laundry facility and it was clean and everything was in good working order. The resort was close to most restaurants. There was a heated and non heated pool. There were areas to walk our dog and doggy bags for us to use.
This was a last minute stay so we were lucky to get a room so close to the beach. It was clean & had a kitchenette (unexpected since I was just trying to get a room).
Inn was recently renovated so it was nice.
I give it a high rating for what it is…an inn, not a big fancy hotel but suited my unexpected need.
There was a wide variety of breakfast item's and plenty of it. Clean space to eat and bonus pool table and ping pong table that my family enjoyed. We also found a list of pet friendly restaurants. That was great. We tried Lelo's . Great family and pet atmosphere. Good food and drinks.
The hotel receptionist was a doll. She was super polite & accommodating and we will for sure be back. We loved how close the hotel was to everything and overall felt very comfortable where we stayed. Pet friendly and our fur baby felt comfortable as well here.
The location was amazing,we loved our room in the corner on the floor we were on. We didn’t eat the breakfast, we went out and ate with friends at their condo.
Nancy is a treasure. Our "hotelroom" was realy an appartment. Separate bedroom, bathroom, a livingroom with a kitchenette. No hotel can be closer to the sea.
