Amersham
Originally a 16th-century coaching inn, The Crown in Old Amersham offers dining, traditional hospitality and easy access to the M40, M25, M1 and M4. Free parking and Wi-Fi is available on-site.
The Crown has a mixture of traditional and modern bedrooms, including the four-poster suite that featured in the film ‘Four Weddings and a Funeral’.
The room was amazing and the bed was wonderful. The restaurant was also superb. With brilliant location for walks into the chilterns. Would return.
Rickmansworth (Near Amersham)
10 of the bedrooms are individually designed and decorated in a traditional style, reflecting the hotel’s historic past. There are also 8 new stylish and contemporary rooms. These include 2 spacious four-poster suites, one of which has a spa bath.
Our room was very spacious and elegantly decorated. We enjoyed being there and would love to come again if possible! In fact we stayed extra days and cancelled another hotel, because we felt so at home!
Great Missenden (Near Amersham)
A 10-minute walk from the centre of Great Missenden is the Nag’s Head Hotel, a 4-star 15th century inn. Guests can enjoy contemporary styled interiors, Anglo-French fusion cuisine and free Wi-Fi.
Each en suite room is individually designed, some featuring original wood beams and all boasting modern fittings. Views look out onto the surrounding countryside and the Nag’s Head’s own large garden.
I liked the back patio area with different types of seating.

All the individually designed bedrooms have an en suite shower room, and some boast a copper bath that fills from the ceiling. Noble Isle toiletries and bathrobes are included. Other features include free Wi-Fi, a flat-screen TV and touch-activated mood lighting.
All was well I think that the shower could have been better as there was not much pressure
Beaconsfield (Near Amersham)

The room and bed was very comfortable and the shower was excellent, the breakfast was very good and there were lots of options available in the dining room and the restaurant staff and reception staff were extremely pleasant and efficient.
Berkhamsted (Near Amersham)
All rooms at The King’s Arms are decorated in a mix of traditional and contemporary design, each room is individually decorated and furnished, and named after a character from Graham Greene’s novels. Rooms offer luxury toiletries, flat-screen TVs, and free Wi-Fi.
Staying for our wedding night. The staff made a huge effort with our room. Breakfast was just what we needed after a long day and to cure the hangover.
Berkhamsted (Near Amersham)
